Hey Neo, thanks for the mention... but was something left out? Like, the title and link to Daisy May's poem?
<snip>
The link was there, just not the text prompt. It's fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.

My apologies to Daisy May. :rose:

- neo

Thank you liar.

Daisy, Maria, neo, thanks for the PC on god's poet.

Thanks fly for commenting on the other two poems and god's poet. I did appreciate having someone read and comment. :)

You're welcome, WickedEve and wildsweetone. I enjoyed them :)

Also wanting to give my own thanks to those who have been reading my work. I appreciate the feedback. Eve, fly, erotic tale, neo, and foehn. (((Hugs)))

:D chuckles :D at Eve's comment on my silly senryu. "gushing"
Shaped Like A Heart

I really study a penis!

Thanks much to Tath for reviews of Overcrowding on the Head of a Pin and the partner poem I did with Flyguy69 Leatherbound. Also big thanks to everyone who has left me feedback and voted, that's what keeps me going, especially now that the so-called morning sickness is starting to rear it's ugly head. (Whoever named it that was a man or an idiot, should be called All Day Puking for the Rest of the Near Future.)

after he swung it around the room - Wicked Eve
Knowing Eve as I do I was sure this was going to be a sex poem.
But it's even better
in her own style she pulls up a vision of that off kilter universe she lives in where things are always at a 45 degree angle.
I loved the idea of this one...though it did make me glad I'm not a relative
; )

Thanks, monkey ass. ;)
Only one thing... it's better than a sex poem? It's sad you feel that way. It's sad that I write dead cat poems instead of sex poems. It's a sad monkey ass time of life.

uhhh, Eve? Why don't you try a dead monkey poem?

Garden of Evil- The Mutt and Miss Oatlash

(I credited the Mutt first because he could never do it himself...being the sub..and just to be naughty for Miss Oatlash..a subbie joke as it were)
These two share a connection that some don't understand or even acknowledge
But it is evident in their collaboration.
It is seamless, and the message it speaks, tells of not only a partnership, but of learning and survival and honor.
Of trust and acceptance.
each knowing what the other needs and providing it.
I liked it very much
well done

:rose:

Thanks for the kind words, sweet monkey! It's fascinating that this poem turned out so 'seamless', 'cuz we didn't talk about it at all! (Not that we weren't tempted to do so...but other things kept us busy when we were together.)

Miss O

P.S. The little subbie joke was good...

But tathonkey, babeee, there was a time when we didn't need a dead cat! I see where this is going. Eventually, it'll just be you and the cat. :(

Thankyou for completing today's reviews Tathagata. I'm supposing you're only claiming not to know who the collaborators are just so you don't get accused of being one of us. :p

That was a fun challenge to participate in and actually, turned out better poetry than either of us imagined. We're still talking about what we were imagining... If you can just imagine?

Perhaps you'll hear more from us in the future.

Neo! Thanks for the mention, the other day. I'm between homes, so finding net access is difficult, else I'd have thanked you sooner.

Also thank you to everyone who's commented on 'in a jeep'... I appreciate all the feedback I get.

:)

Maybe this is the thread where we can thank people for their comments? Eh, what the hell...smooches for everybody!

And a Happy Holiday season to all.
I am watching my 3 year old step grandson ( if thats a word)
So the reviews may be a bit edgy or refer to Spongebob a lot.

also the thermometer on my comments is left at 50%
doesn't mean that's how I voted
ok??
Jump to light speed Chewie.....

Indigo Eyes - BooMerengue & Irishcatsmeow
the first collaboration poem and it has some great stuff
this line struck me

That is what a dance floor is all about
A great poem and a very nice joint effort
Thank you

Delayed Voyage Home - Belegon & Boomerengue
Another collaboration.
Boo is a romantic in the classic sense and Belegon compliments her so well in this ancient tale of a sailor returning from the sea.
worth a read or two at least
well done
...
Love Gone Wild - Boomerengue & Lazarus
Boo's been a mad woman on this challenge
This poem with Lazarus is an erotic one
and my favorite verse:

That's some pretty good writing
Give it a look
...
Sorry had to take a break to self medicate......
on with the show
...
House Call - Boo & Remec

Wow seems like Boo's done everyones.....errrrr in the challenge I mean
; )
This is an interesting one of a wily doctor from what I can gather.....
I think I'll grab my black bag and head to Boo's house

Steel Seduction - Boo & Flyguy69

I liked this ,a little misdirection is always fun

Tara Redux - Boo & Reltne

A " gone with the wind" behind the scenes??
again great echange of lines and the mood maintained
Boo seems to have taken poetic viagra.......

Heating Up - Guess who and average gina ( Boo)
These two yopung ladies take us to a juke joint to listen to Muddy Waters and watch hips sway like the watch of a hypnotist
a really nice collab.

L'amore le Absinthe' Boo and tathagata

yeah we went over 16 lines...I'm a rebel
I had a ball working with Boo and she kept me grounded
the result is a playful little trifle that i enjoyed writing very much
Ok enough for me
I must retire to my inner sanctum and feed my brain.......or something like that

as always feel free to mention anything i didnt
and do us ALL a favor and read everything and vote and comment
we need it to get better
have a good weekend all
slan go foill
:rose:

I laughed so hard at this post I couldn't respond!! Thanks, Tath! I DID have a lot of fun with this. I can't say no to a dare, and I got some good ones. And the ones I gave turned out pretty good, too! But that couldn't have happened without some really good writing by my partners, and for that I'm really grateful! So Mille Grazi to all of them!!

Poetic viagra?? Where can I get some??

Thank you Tathagata, you merry monkey, for mentioning the poem Tungtied and I wrote. And Wicked Eve, I saw your comment. You have the lines mixed up in your supposition of who did what in the poem, heehee. We pretty well mixed it up though--there's stuff from both of us in both lines.

:)

Thank you Art for the mention. And to all that have commented on my poem.

Thanks

Thanks for the mention of my last two poems in the new poetry thread.... the support is much appreciated, as is all forms of criticism or feed back. Infact, the positive response I've received from the literotica site is what has made me continue to write and post poetry. So, thanks again...

Aiming Point - analyze this ( annaswirls and Liar)
I would be scared stiff to write with anna....but Liar did and the joint effort is stunning in that you can't tell who wrote what.

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without a script or whispered prompts
you too would stare for hours,
measuring time by shadows on the wall
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

anna or liar...or both??
in any case a great read
check it out and wonder....

Benign Logistics - analyze this ( annaswirls and Liar)
This is too clever for me to even comment on
Like Lewis Carroll, or John Lennon's topsy turvy writings.....I kept seeing Alice in Wonderland and Jabberwocky, and Willy Wonka.....
Just read it
this should have an "E" next to it
sometimes when you see talent like this...you want to destroy everything you've ever written

Thank you! And LIAR! I JUST got the name references

Ana lyze

wow

you are smart.
and cool.
Thank god you wrote these with me or who knows what would have happened to these poems

anyway. T. Thanks for the review, so kind on our cooperative cheatin' I don't know which lines were mine they kind of got smudged like a charcoal sketch

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SAID YOU WOULD BE SCARED STIFF TO WRITE WITH ME!

What? Do I have Ebola or something?

sheesh.

Ask Liar, I am a pussy cat to write with and it was actually surprisingly easy. I usually do not work well in groups.

I tried to do this with 1201, I think it turned out pretty cool, but I could not get myself to make any sense whatsoever.

So, if you ever unstiffen, why don't you write something with me Tath? Before I really start to get paranoid and think that I smell or suck or something.

~anna

Thank you eve

for helping out on the Sunday reviews. I didn't notice yours until I had already posted my tardy reviews....and I apologize for not mentioning they would be late...didn't know they would be until they were.

:rose:

Re: Sunday's reviews

Thankyou, both Wicked Eve and tt2u for your different takes on Papaya Lane.

I know it's rich (possibly too fatty) in adjectives, but when I'm
floating along in an azure haze
colours distract and add to the daze
when barely awake in iambic amour
i tend to forget that yes, less is more.
