I think jthserra may be doing Wednesday's reviews. If he doesn't show up with something brilliant, or anything at all, then I'll be back later with reviews.

Thanks Jim!

And welcome back to reviews! I have so missed your wit and creative comments.

In an earlier poetry lifetime I was called jthspell-check,

You crack me up!

...and deeply honor me :rose:

And last, but certainly not least, is my favorite poem of the day. Syndra Lynn beautifully spreads her wings with Out of My Chrysalis. This neatly trimmed poem would make Gandhi proud:

Most humble thanks for the splendid recommendation.

And many thanks for all the kind pc and private feedback from all who took the time to read. :rose:

Thank You, Jim

I'd like to thank Jim for reviewing my work, WickedEve for starting the Drip And Squish thread, and all the contributors to the thread for sharing their least favorite erotic words and phrases which I simply took and gently massaged into the masterwork now posted on Lit.

I'd like to thank my parents who, I am quite sure, are very proud of me and, of course, my agent Harry Weinstein, all the marketing staff at Warner Brothers, and God.

Good night, and God Bless!

Thank you Jim for the mention and noticing the error of spelling... working two jobs full time has made me slack lol..
Du~

much to my surprise,

i've been mentioned not once, but twice in this thread. hmm, maybe i'd have submitted sooner had i known that i'd be noticed. all my submissions, except one, were written last year. i had a notion that maybe if i posted them on Lit it might renew my well-worn beat. dry spells suck, but i guess they're necessary eh.
anyhoo, thanks for noticing me...and commenting on my stuff. btw, i think i submitted 25, not 34. 26 including the lengthy fuck story that's still pending..
back to the srp's for now....

Here are a few more of today's poems that I found of interest. (Again, note the emphasis on "I".)

She's Stubborn. Yes, Angeline is, and so's her poem. It demands to be read several times, more slowly and perceptively each go. Then the truth of its lines
fulfill themselves. This is true Angeline and far better than an initial scan might indicate to a hasty eye.
~ Well Done! ~ :rose: (today's pick) :rose:

QUOTE]

Thank you Rybka, you fine fish, for recommending my poem. I'm not really stubborn. No actually I'm very stubborn, but in a nice way. :)

Thanks to all who voted and commented, you lovely bunch of poets.

Help me out

When you look at people's profile, what is a public group? That no one seems
to be a member of? Thanks in advance.

Rebel by Blackie Malone is an erotic first submission by a Lit. member of a little over a month. This poem is a rather basic piece with a leaning towards S&M and domination. There is nothing wrong with this poem, it is as good as most of the other submissions of the day, but there is nothing extraordinary about it either. It is a competent piece by a first time author. Go read it if the subject matter appeals to you and give some encouragement to a new contributor. (Not that he needs it. Blackie apparently already has his own fan club. :) )

Just wanted to point out that Blackie is a girl. :p
Out of curiosity, any idea of what could have made it a more extraordinary poem?

I always had a thing for Thing. To this day Thing is a part of my most erotic fantasies.

For some reason I just now noticed this post. It was the way Thing beckoned, right?

I'll pay up my dues w/ cash. Now we have a president I'll enjoy following. Hell,
I'll even carry her towel and lotion.

I would love see the left coast. Looking at your new av can I tell it's full lava flows
and secert coves. Peaks to climb and views to enjoy. Ocean breezes cooling
and cooing. It's almost a shame I'll be stuck on the OBX sandpit
sweating and dreaming....."Hey! Checkout out that redhead!" Oh well, maybe
I'll just summer here again.

Love the mini poem here. Sigh. Passed up for a redhead. I'm crushed.
