I haven't done a beak count, still too dark,
but I assume, unless the predators got lucky,
that the flock stuck together.
They're not all up on the roof of the doghouse,
which is where they usually congregate after an attack.
They better start laying eggs pretty soon because I'm getting
impatient and store-bought eggs are like eating fawkin' rice cakes...
