TSCLT 10.0: Confucius say he hates a pussy!

He's emptying his pennies jar to pay off on his I-made-it-for-him bet on tonight's game . . . .

:D ;)

It's raining, hard and the dogs won't go out.
Big stupid just peed on the carpet.
I soaked it up, but later on I'll have to apply some chemical to it
and try to get rid of the scent, or they'll do it again...

That wet stuff is headed this way.

Old critters start doing things like that, bless their aging selves.

We have quite the weasel collection scheduled for today. It might get interestin' . . . .

The worst part is that this never happened when we kept them locked in the office at night.
But recently they also started busting the gate down
or just raising holy hell until released.
They have become quite the problem.

Second childhood?

We've got a cold front rolling through, no rain just the ever present wind.

I don't think so...

I might have to go back to putting down pee pads
like when they were puppies. The weather isn't going to improve in November.

They do have a room,
I just cannot get them to stay in it anymore.

They've engaged in subversion and terrorist activities.

They have very simple and direct tactics...

Crash the gate and if the door is closed

just go bananas, bark as loud as possible
while clawing at the door and the carpet.

The Jarheads had 36 teams for this years Toys for Tots tournament. At $400 a team, that's a lot of toys. I can't do the maths but it has to be more than $1,000.

Team Johnny had a gross score of 61 and a net of 55.

The Toys for Tots is a cool program. I wonder when the government is going to take it over?

Ours is run by the local detachment of the Marine Corps League - you know, the old guys in red shirts. We have lots of Marines here. The hills are prime recruiting grounds.

In the UK at least most people in port towns know the reality of life in the Navy/Marines.

Most of the time they are ashore in barracks, and when they are at sea, all they see is the sea.

"Join the Navy and see the world"

No. Apart from barracks, they see the sea.

It is a far more attractive life in the Merchant Navy.

PS. In World War One, the so-called German High Seas fleet didn't have sleeping accommodation on board. They expected to be in port every night...
