I liked training down there because it was good for taking off a few pounds and increasing flexibility; you might feel hot and uncomfortable, but you stay really loose.
 
I remember that Sensei used to compare training in Okinawa to being at the bottom of an empty swimming pool in 100% humidity and 90º temperatures.

My goal today is to recover from yesterday. Over achieving has it's down sides.
 
It's laundry day here, then again, it's almost always laundry day.


I'm thinking of some blackened fish and shrimp tonight.
I have a bunch of tilapia and some ideas of
what I want to do with it along with
some shrimp kabobs...
 
I have a T-bone marinating as I type. :)

Piddlin' stuff to do today. A little trim work on the wood rack I built yesterday. Order a set of nut breakers. And start on the next receiver.

I use a product named Allegro, their hickory smoke product. It's not one of those over spiced, over sugared, products that attempts to cover up the flavor of the meat. Very subtle. They make a 'regular' type and one specifically blended for game. It's not cheap but well worth the price. Give it a try once, I won't tell anyone you broke with your "purist" snobbery. :D

The shrimp is not going to have anything done to it other than a good grilling.
It will be on a stick with sweet peppers and vidalia quarters.
Pure, good, clean and simple.

Tilapia is not shrimp or t-bone.
It is a low-cost, low-sodium source of good protein.

It is not a culinary crime to try and make its blandness sing...

I already stated that I would happily marinate round steak
