TSCLT 7.0: Hemis, Harleys, Hooters-n-Harridans

I remember seeing The Queen of Hearts on a trailer headed to the northest somewhere.

It was the most garish thing I had laid eyes on up to that point in my life - musta been 50 years ago.

But it would be a piece of cake to do now with LED lighting.

And, of course, don't forget the neon underlights . . . .

Used to see a lot of them rigged up like that in the NE. NJ, NY, MA, etc. Not so much in the Mid-West and West.

This guy who hangs on the periphery of my Friday night gang added neon to his garbage wagon recently.

I think he wonders why I barely acknowledge him.

I don't . . . .

Got to bed late.
Got up late.

When we were kids, we found a Harley in our ditch.
We were not strong enough or enough enough to
drag it up and out of there.

Someone must have;
maybe the owner...

Having sobered up?

You see a lot of neon on the low-riders out here. Some done tastefully, others not so much.

I could see lights on my Mercedes, if done right.
Even better, I saw light-stimulated paint while
watching Counting Cars and I want some;

maybe not on the F150 though...

We found a Triumph, same thing.

When we went back, it was gone.

It was so sad, but we never figured out what we'd have done with it.

Off to put a hurtin' on these fucking weasels . . . .

We had a DKW, which we called a Damned Kraut Wagon.

The front-wheel drive captivated us, especially on gravel
and at the same time made us feel superior
for understanding "muscle" in a car.

I have marinated steak cubes in the fridge right now, they will be assembled into kebabs later.
Tats and bumper stickers have their places and can be very beautiful. We need more beautiful in the world.

When you sticker that Rolls Royce,
I might pay attention.

:D

I note you're not bragging about your tat...

lol

Why are "they" suddenly scrambling?

Additionally,

Why is there no never-ending IMPEACHMENT thread?

Weird friggin' weather for this time of year. Another afternoon T'Storm. Our monsoon season doesn't start until July.

Spent the day piddlin' around outside in the AM and doing paperwork this afternoon. Knocked out a bunch of the 20 - 30 min. stuff. Tomorrow I can start tackling bigger projects.

CNN down another 16% in prime time ratings. :D

Home. Hotel. Grazed on some carry-out.

Sent a text to a friend I hadn't talked to in a long time. Silly wench calls me 90 seconds later, and we talked for . . . 90 minutes. I guess we had a fair amount of ground to cover. It was a great chat. I've missed her.

We have weasels - I don't know why "weasels," but it started out that way and it's become traditional, I reckon - weasels at work who are becoming purposefully annoying. Wire butcher boy. Cruising to get locked in a crawl space somewhere. He was still alive when we saw him leave to go home/to the bar - honest.

And I have witnesses.

I'm a little bit curious as to why 'butcher boy' is even still around? Electrical is generally knocked out before trim and finishing are tackled. If the wall plates are still off and terminations are still dangling he must be a real jewel.

Labeling panels they fucked up or ignored during the job. Upgrading GFIs in hallways and replacing exterior outlets and covers they ignored or missed. Mostly ignored.

His boss admitted that letting him be in charge on this job was a mistake. Yeah, no shit, Knucklehead . . . not an old HfD, either.

He got a bit wise with Wat today, such that a bit of restraint was needed. He still breathes.

It's down to days . . . only daze . . . .

He flunked electrical 101. I wonder if he had the balls to tell the boss "how much money he saved him?"

"Why is there never enough time to do the job right but always enough time to do it over?" - Unknown
