Canadian side and I was in Algonac (great steak place) last weekend while I was
staying at the cottage in south Lambton. I know more Detroiters than Yuppers
but Northern Michigan is beautiful, I travel through there when I go to the Sault to
hunt.

G'afternoon, sah!!! It's a tad cooler here today, for this week, and it looks like it might/could rain. Going to head up to see the Friday night crowd. Damn the raindrops, full HfD ahead!!!


Mom and I are blowing town Sunday morning as the sun clears the horizon. My night activities tomorrow will be curtailed unless I want to be more tired than I will if I crash early.


The handlebar/fork bag came, so it's installed. The PTO for the USB port is installed. The phone cable is run and zip-tied into place. The phone mount is appropriately mounted and adjusted to the phone so that it's a simple friction clamp on and off.


How the fuck did they build motorcycles before zip ties???

Got caught in a shower on the way home. Pretty good downpour. Gotta oil the handgun and mags in the morning, damn it.

I’m actually in the northern half of the lower peninsula, a bit south of Alpena. I spend most of my time here, it’s quiet and I like the space.

I’ve only been to the U.P. a couple of times, it may be TOO quiet up there for me!

I hunt in the back yard.

Up too damned early for no good reason, save that I'm still breathing. The cat makes more noise during the night than he ever did before. I'm not sure what that's all about.


Thanks for the thought. I think that I'll just haul the laptop in the suitcase loose and take the calendar and call it close enough, leaving the potentially contaminated briefcase at home. We'll see.
