I freeze some stuff... but we have a third-world grid here and power in the winter is hit or miss. With global warming you can't even throw the frozen stuff into the snow banks any more.

Same here, our grid is sketchy at best so I’ve got a standby that runs on propane.

Beats not being able to run the furnace in January!

Corn and critters are what I freeze. Both are basically free so I don't feel bad if I can't eat fast enough when the power goes.
