Good morning, early morning, oh well,
I can get a decent jump on the day.

More porch work on the agenda,
there was/is a lot of repair work
to be done in the areas that had
been covered by ivy and clematis.
Hopefully, I finish the repairs today
and get on to the painting tomorrow
and then I can begin on the balcony
next week.

On the downside, allergy season is
kicking in, but at least this year is atypical
when it comes to heat and humidity.
You always have to find that silver lining.

Had a front gate meeting with the contractor yesterday afternoon. Had to sign a little waiver stating that I agreed with them getting the whole job done today. Apparently the city has folks driving around making sure the contractors aren't blocking any driveways. (Penalty clause?) Anyway, the plan is that they start the demo work and framing at 6AM and pour the crete at 10AM and I'll be good to go tomorrow AM.
