Yup..it's a Prince song....very popular for the high school and college classes graduating in 1999. The chorus goes something like:

Oh, they say two thousand zero zero party over,
Oops out of time
We're runnin' outta time (tonight i'm gonna)
So tonight we gonna (party like it's 1999)
We gonna, oww

Frankly it's a rather annoying song....gets in your head and won't leave.

good thing i don't know it then...

it is funny in fact, i know so little music that is played on the radio. if i listen to radio at home then it is usually bbc, else i just listen to whatever obscure cds or tapes i have. sometimes i get asked what bands are popular in germany right now, and i usually have no idea...

My, what's the deal with the new AV? I miss the legs already unless you have another surprise for us

Muna, your changed too. Looks like I might have to change mine, but I don't know to what.

You don't like the WWII Russian Warplane babe?? Sigh....I thought she was rather hot personally....And if your new AV has ANYTHING to do with the Yankees Gemini I'm gonna have to kick you outta the thread....sorry ;)

So THAT"S what that is, MyOwn?!?! Wow, I was kind of confused. It really is a good picture, however, it's just a painting. Sure, your legs are in a picture that we see, but at least we're seeing something of your body. I too miss your legs. However, I'm going to be a gentleman about it and respect your choice.

Munachi, is that you in your AV? If so, fuckin' hawt!

I'm going to change my AV sometime soon, but haven't found something yet.

I got the next two days off from work. Tomorrow after my one hour class, if I'm indeed still in it, because I haven't seen any latest grades on assignments posted yet, I am going to be renting a riding mower and mowing the grass for the first time since the beginning of Fall.

No Yankee stuff, My. Good job with them winning  I really have no ideas for a new AV. I had friend of mine resize that image for me. Is there any good AV sites I can go to???

Well, so much for mowing the yard today. As usual, whenever I plan to mow the yard and especially on a day off from work, something bad happens and in that sense, it rained! It will probably rain again, because the wetness of the walkway indicates a recent rain.

hi... my mouth is almost fine now! today the threads from the stitches came out, and my face looks normal again, yay!
in the av it is me, though it is me a year ago... well, haven't changed too much though... i think...

I'm not sure what the wisdom teeth are, but I remember about 4 years back my dad had at least 4 teeth from the bottom rear of his mouth removed. Ever since, he wasn't able to eat anymore hard stuff, mainly because the teeth in the back are pretty much the "main chompers" as I'd like to refer to them as. I don't really know if it was a painful experience or not, but I'm sure it was, although I do remember he was still bleeding a little bit even after the teeth pulling.

Anyhow, I hope everything works out in a good way for you, Munachi, and as I said, you're f-ing hawt in your AV.

wisdom teeth are those in the very back of the mouth, you have one on the upper jaw and one on the lower jaw on each side, and they often grow out only quite late (hence the name, implying you gained wisdom when they grow), and in a lot of cases never at all... they aren't really necessary for chewing though, once it is healed my mouth will function normally...

glad you like my avatar... thanks...

Thanks for the "wisdom".

Also, I sensed hesitation right there when you were glad I like your avatar and thanked me. Is it a bad thing to express appreciation for something that one thinks kindly of?

Perhaps "f-ing hawt" was too much? Or maybe it's the attention? Anyhow, one thing I learned in life is that compliments are meant to be taken well. I've always had a hard time accepting compliments, mainly because I never thought myself worthy of compliments.

Anyhow, I hope all is well.

oh... sorry, didn't mean to come across hesitating...

i do sometimes have problems to accept compliments, though mainly because i am never sure how to react... but in this case i didn't mean to sound hesitating... if it was because of the "..." - i always do those...

I do that too. Once somebody told me that it meant I was being rude to them or something like that, when in fact it's my way of "pausing" in between thoughts.

No worries though. Glad to hear I'm not the only person in the world to have problems accepting compliments.

Mmmm...yes...compliments. Hate those. Never know how to react and they always make me blush. I hate compliments almost as much as I hate having to say I'm sorry...I hate having to say I'm sorry...means I was wrong about something....and I HATE being wrong ;)

Hmm... I think there are girls who look cute when they blush from compliments. It's... well, it's cute. lol. I do have a question for you ladies, though. Out of what you WILL and CAN accept/get used to, what kind of compliment would you really love? Sure, compliments should not be expected and all, but I'm just curious. For instance, MyOwn, you already get plenty of compliments from us guys about your legs and body, and I'm sure I've mentioned it a few times that I'd like to compliment your legs by kissing them.

About the whole hating what to say thing, I know how you feel MyOwn, I hate saying I'm sorry too, especially like at my job. I'm just doing my job, so I shouldn't have to be sorry. Yet, I say "I'm sorry." Another thing I hate doing is explaining to people why I can't do certain things. For instance, at my job. the whole paging system or using the phones. I can't use the phones or paging system because I cannot hear the tones you're supposed to hear before you speak. I'm hearing impaired and I wear hearing aids, so phones are not always easy unless I get lucky and the other person is speaking very well and understandable. It also depends on the kind of phone I'm using. However, I hate telling people I'm hearing impaired and I cannot hear like with the phones, EVEN THOUGH other people have told me not to worry about it. I can only do what I can do.

It sounds like I'm whining about myself, but really, I'm just trying to explain myself, but I think from now on, I won't explain myself to anyone. I'll simply say, "I'm hearing impaired and I can't use that phone, etc." That way, I'm not going into some long story about myself and it's plain and simple.

Well I definitely don't hate compliments even though they confuse me and I hate that confusion - I still like the actual compliment.

Well I am anyway convinced I am the best ever, in everything, so if someone else recognizes this it is good :p

What compliments do I like best? I guess it is more about a variety - any compliment wears out if it gets old. And it would make me feel that there is all there is about me. I get quite a few compliments about my hair color, so if that was all I would end up thinking I have nice hair but else am boring... It also depends on how it is said, and whom it is from, of course. Like my professor saying something about my body would be creepy while him commenting nicely on my intelligence would be great, while if I am sexually interested in someone I suppose I would prefer compliments about my looks. Of course, if I want to seriously get involved with someone I would want him to like both my looks and my mind so I would like him to compliment both. So as I said, it all depends.

Hm, I guess you should just say it. I understand not wanting to say it but of course people can't know unless you tell them. Not sure...

What I dislike at work is when I seem to be responsible for all that happens there just because I sit at the reception. Like when someone dislikes the hotel (which happens as it is not really that good) I am the one they complain to...

Mmmm...yeah I can relate to this. I used to work at a pool...one that should have been renovated about 10 years ago...or for that matter built a little better in the first place....Anyway...it was a private pool, so people used to expect a lot because they paid a lot to use it....but it's kinda hard to mask the fact that it was just a shitty facility. But because I was a lifeguard, and the guards were the employees these people saw the most of, we used to get the brunt of the complaints. I mean, serious complaints about stuff we had no control over because we just worked there. It totally sucked. It was then I realized I'm not cut out for any job that requires me to be customer savvy. I'd much rather tell them all the shut the hell up and stop complaining...

Anything I have worked I have had good times. One thing I did hate was answering phones. Something people didn't speak clearly or when I tried to write a message they went too fast. Took me awhile to get use to that

Enjoy work, Muna! I'm going to bed in a bit. Sleeping naked for the first time this week. Been too cold in NYC lately.
