i have no christmas tree here. maybe i should have decorated my plantes (i never used to bother about plants, but now i have quite a few smaller ones, like a madagaskar palme, a christmas cactus, a "gummibaum" etc., and some bigger ones, my tallest is a two metre yucca palmtreee...). but well at my mom's and at my dad's each i will get to see a christmas tree i suppose.

Merry Christmas everybody!! I just got off work, so that's gonna me holiday pay for me... plus I had to work an extra 3 hours because of some stupid bullshit w/ one of the employees... so that's extra holiday pay! Woot!

Hi there! As the title says...this is my first post here on this thread although I have been hanging around here in the how to section every now and then. I'm also in my twenties. I read that most of you are in grad school, and I'm thinking about going myself someday. My question is: Was it tough to get in? Was the GRE hard? What's the best review book? I bought one by Kaplan. I'm in the healthcare field but not exactly sure if I want to stay in it because of the crazy hours I have to work...(i.e sometimes I have to be on call...work holidays or work the graveyard shift). I know that pretty soon I have to settle down and have a family. So I'm still searching for a good master's degree program that will be best for me.
Anyway...just wanted to say hi!

Let's see... yet another crummy holiday weekend where I am WORKING!! Grr!!! It sucks ass. Oh wells, I didn't have anything planned anyways. It used to be that mom, dad, and my brother and I would go out and rent movies and buy like 5 or 6 large pizzas, but mom and dad divorced, remarried to others, and then my dad passed away about a year, 2 years ago. So... basically I'm working. I wonder if it'd be okay to show up drunk just this once... 
Monday of course I will be putting in my two weeks notice at my second job. I'm starting classes soon (hopefully), and working two jobs just leaves me w/ nothing to do but sleep. Sleep's good, mind you, but wanting to do other things but unable to do so w/ working all the time is just getting to me. I need more time for myself and more time to focus on my schoolwork this semester. For some reason I got a few letters the other day, one that felt like they were saying if I didn't straighten up they'd kick me out. Apparently I attempted 36 or so credits and failed 31 of them. The other letter is from the loan company thinking I graduated november 12th and they want me to start making payments soon after I call the 800 number they gave me.
Anyhow, I gotta get to bed. I think I'm supposed to be at work at 1 in the afternoon today. Have fun this weekend!
Oh and I haven't figured out exactly what my New Year's Resolution is... I'm sure it'll come to me.
