Wax play has been something that I've wanted to try since someone first sent me a picture of it about six years ago - before my journey through Lit.
Since then, I've done some reading, some talking, and some learning through my local BDSM group. I wanted so much to be the one he used to SHOW us how to be safe, what it could do, how to use candles. And how to clean it off. Since then, I still haven't stopped wanting to try it...and, with Covid, may end up trying it on myself!

Oohhh, wax is wonderful! Messy as hell and requires some preparation, because unlike love, wax is forever, at least on carpet!
That said, the anticipation, the heat, the total surrender to the person with the candle? It's delicious, and the best part is lying completely still while it's scraped off with a knife...
You do have to be pretty careful, and only with someone you trut completely. We've made do with candles that are less than ideal, because you can vary the heat by the height from which you drip it. Hot wax cools surprisingly quickly.
