I watched the "Dollhouse" premier the other night. The ctaing was a bit stiff, the script needed some work & there was a lot happening for a first show, but overall I think it has potential. I love the concept.

I won't mention all the shows I love... many have been mentioned before... but I love to watch "As Time Goes By" with Judi Dench... she reminds me of my own attitude.

HBO's Big Love
Weeds
Rescue Me
Nip Tuck
2 1/2 Men
Simpson's
King of the Hill
There are probably more that I am not thinking about right now.

Big Love is awesome, Ginnifer Goodwin is hot!!!

Yep, I wonder if she'll come be my wife! :D

We've been enjoying "One Way Out" on Discovery recently, too. All I can think is escape artists like Jonathan must be serious masochists!

24, Kiefer Sutherland's Hot as Jack Bauer, would not mind getting "tortured";) by him;):D

Big LOVE
Grey's Anatomy
1000 Ways to Die (SPIKE TV)
ER
American Idol
Survivor
Judge Judy
Intervention
CSI

Seinfeld
Everybody loves Raymond
Family guy
Girls of the playboy mansion
Law and Order-SVU

TV Faves

Burn Notice
Psych
and some stuff on the Food Network

Dexter-hands down, the best writing on television

DollHouse-struggling a bit to find consistency, but I think it has potential.

Battlestar Galactica-TOO fucking dark, but stunningly written, produced and directed. Acting is probably the best on television.

Heroes-Not a favorite thanks to the shoddy writing for 2 seasons running. Mostly I watch out of a desperate hope that it'll get good again but I'm not holding my breath.

Lost-I watch sorta out of morbid curiosity to see whether they continue on their X-Files-ish path toward complete and utter nonsense or whether they somehow manage to pull their asses out of the fire. I'm betting on the former, though.

House-I hate hospital/medical shows, but House rocks. Most interesting fake doctor on tv, EVER.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer-One of my favorite shows of all time. A masterpiece of storytelling, acting and character development.

Angel-Another favorite, and especially in the character development area it even tops its predecessor (Buffy)

Firefly-Victim of the mindless masses and the douchebags at Fox, this was great sci-fi.

24 I think, at least it used to be. Does anyone else think this season is a little over the top in twists and turns?

No clue. I had to stop watching 24 several seasons ago because there were too many torture scenes. :(

now i'm wondering if the former president watched 24...

LOL :D

I have to wonder if it had a little something to do with Obama being elected. At its height, 24 had a lot of viewers, and back then I remember thinking it could shape perceptions of our future Presidential candidates. Maybe it planted a few positive seeds in the minds of some voters who wouldn't have otherwise considered a non-white President and showed people they were ready for additional possibilities.

Possibly. Realistically, Obama's race is the ONLY significant truth about his presidency so far. Overall, he's just more of the same. The Status Quo is alive and well with this one. Fully expected, though, the most meaningful difference between a Democrat and a Republican these days is the SPELLING.

In any case, fiction is far more interesting than the modern political scene. At least in a fantasy world there are *heroes* :)
