What I Wrote and Why: the support thread

I was thinking wee-waw. Somewhere between war and nee-nahs.

(Do non-Brits refer to emergency service vehicles as nee-nahs?)

My submission was just approved for tomorrow. I wonder how many others are lined up, and I'm curious to find out how readers react when all of a sudden the New list is flooded with writers droning on about themselves and their stories.

There is a full moon on the 21st. Should go well with our narcissism... :ROFLMAO:

Submitted something. Not exactly an essay as I haven't written one since college, but it's written in an informative, even if informal, style. Hopefully it passes muster.

Read and rated that one too. I was quite productive this morning.
This was a fun little exercise, @StillStunned! I'll have to consider trying it again in the future. :)
I was just thinking: over the past 6 months or so, I've given the AH these WIWAWs and Writing Exercises. I feel like I'm the responsible adult who makes everyone do their homework.

(But I'm glad you had fun anyway.)

I kind of botched this. Maybe its meds or lack of sleep due to the pain I've been in, but I didn't put WIWAW in the title of my story. I referenced it in the author's note, and in the note box but not the title. And there's one dumb type...that I saw, could be more.

Regardless, this may be the most traffic reviews and essays has ever seen in one day.

It's listed together with all the other stories, so for now at least it's safe to assume everyone will guess it's part of the event.

And unless you've written about how meticulous you are with your spelling and grammar, I don't think anyone is going to downvote you for a typo or two.
