Whats everyone doing today?

Leah, you are so very welcome. I will tell you that this corner of Lit is by far the nicest, imo. That is, of course due to all of the wonderful regulars here. :) Enjoy your time here!!! :rose:

yank: That's right...flaunt it boy!

It was actually chilly here this morning too. Low 90's which is a real relief. Enjoy San Francisco! (a totally different SF, hmm?) I need to go visit there soon, it has been a while.

i'm taking a ride through delaware for no particular reason.

Sounds like a nice ride. :)

I'm tinkering with websites (making updates) and ebaying.

i burn easily but not THAT easily... it was sort of a comment on the billion degree temps we have here today. the thirty seconds it takes to get to the car i might fry to a crisp. :(

don't you worry about what i'm going to tinker with. why isolate things when you can tinker with everything?

You must be getting the heat wave we had the last 10 days. As yank pointed out earlier...it is gorgeous weather here! Be careful in the heat, make sure you drink plenty of water. We don't want you dehydrated!!!

Ahhhh, so you are a tinkerer?! I knew I liked you EJ

It's supposed to be almost 80 today, though.

 right now here it's 95. Enjoy it because sooner or later, you'll have to come back to the heat and humidity.

so you'll be changing your name to westcoastyankee? Awesome, dude...

As for what I did today, I spent $$ at a new fabric store in my area. It's like a damn candy store for the eyes.

I'm getting ready for yet another birthday.

Daughter #3 will be four years old tomorrow.

She's excited. And easy to shop for. We got her flashlights and bubble blowers. She'll love them.

Four weeks from tomorrow, on the 30th, my baby turns three, and then we'll be finished with kids' birthdays until December. :)

My husband was 45 when our almost-four-year-old was born. Some days being a daddy makes him feel younger.

Today was not one of those days. :D

It was a wonderful day in the East Bay area yesterday and today promises to be about the same: bright sun, a light breeze, and temps around 80.

Yesterday I toured some discount stores with a client. Today we will meet to begin figuring out how to help them make more money and keep their new employees from quitting too soon.

Staying the hell inside!! It's 100+ and I'm 76 blocks from the beach in NJ!
Bring on the thunder storms, these dog days suck!

I will be trying to get my bank to send me a new batch of checks with my address actually printed on them instead of just my name.

And trying for the fourth time to figure out why the post office hasn't forwarded a single piece of mail since my move, and where my mail might actually be at the moment.

So far, the only companies that have not screwed something up and have not required me to make more than 3 phone calls to do one simple little thing, have been the electric and gas companies. But I haven't gotten bills yet, so that might change.
