I am coming around to voting a mostly straight ticket. Trump has dragged, pushed, and kicked the Pubs sufficiently into the 21st century. But there is still one Pub who seems too much of a dipshit even for a seatwarming job. Too bad the opponent is even more of a dipshit. I'll skip that one and let other voters decide which dipshit gets a government salary.

Many solutions of the 21st will start with going back to what we know works. In 1950, the US did its own manufacturing, had more radio than TV, no internet, less suburban sprawl, and generally used less energy. We will be making some hard decisions about how to conserve energy as it becomes more expensive. Trump is not yet ready to say suburban sprawl is one of the worst mistakes ever made that we must and will reverse, but he may get there eventually.
