Why Every Adult Should Carry a Gun

Speaking of bullshit!

"Capitalism has consequences". No, communism has consequences, capitalism has risks.

There is a vast difference in maybe losing money and being sent to the gulag

No bull, dumb shit. Sorry for the foul language here, I’m just trying to use words you’ll understand. Economics obviously goes over your head.

Also, do you think capitalism vs. communism is a binary choice? You’re a clueless little thing, aren’t you? Stop licking your guns.

You led the horses asses to water and MADE them drink.

Well played.

Ahahahahahahahaah but you didn't call me a racist! You have to get in all of the talking points to maintain the narrative!

Reducing cost of living means fewer homeless encampments.

They've "reduced" it to zero in some cases (shelters) and we still have a homeless population.

The homeless are homeless because they want to be. Not because they don't have other options.

This is my experience with the long-term homeless (addiction factors in very heavily, as does insanity). For everyone else, lower cost of living means a better chance to have an apartment or house.

May your luck deliver you into a rude awakening. 😘

Do you understand economics?

Ever hear the radio adds to the effect: “John buys Bay Area houses” or “Sell your house fast, buyers are waiting for your call” ? Those are corporate buyers.

Billionaire investors buying up real estate to hold for long term gains. They reduce the availability and increase the price for prospective home buyers, pushing the market prices, then they rent them out at what the market can bear.

How much can the market bear? As much as people are willing to spend to keep from being homeless. What is higher priority for individuals to spend money on than housing? It swallows disposable income. Rather than being able to contribute to the consumer economy or build personal wealth, renters pay to enrich wealthy landlords.

It concentrates wealth.

Please, can you cogently dispute this economic reality?

Your choice, be an ass or have a real conversation.

You are engaging with a Sealion that has zero interest in reality, facts, or solutions.

Their ENTIRE purpose is to engage and distract from other topics like the corrupt orange traitor’s criminal trials and President Biden’s major accomplishments..

(Notice that they aren’t even on topic for THIS thread.)

😑

I hate Sealions.

🤬

JFC

SAD!!!

This story is a bit old (2019) I just discovered this... this young man (11 years old at the time) was faced with a evil home invader. He was forced into a closet by the feral heathen and commanded to remain in the closet.... as this lawless meatsack was searching for items to take the boy retrieved a machete and struck the shitstain on the head. Thus causing cowardly intruder to flee, afterwards the invader was captured and arrested....
This story just plain pleases me to no end...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 side note .... bet'cha that fuckwit was surprised, hope his wounds became sepsis....as the thread title reads, why every adult should carry a gun.....no, the machete wasn't harmed...

https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/l...d-in-fort-worth-double-homicide/287-536378256... once again this story is from 2018...here's an update of sorts... apprehended in Tennessee after he murdered a mother and daughter.... this scum was convicted of these heinous crimes... he was given the death penalty 😎it'll take some time, but the monster is headed to the death chamber.... proving the need for a .357 equalizer......
For all of the folk that believes "I live in a good neighborhood nothing gonna happen" you can bet these victims thought the same thoughts..... never be in fear... just be aware of your surroundings... trust your instincts.....act accordingly

No it doesn't. Cost of living has almost nothing to do with home ownership. If it did then we'd have had more home owners in the past than the records show.

Like everything of value in the world people have to want their dreams enough to sacrifice a few things today in order to achieve their goals tomorrow. That means that discretionary income isn't very discretionary when you really think about it. Every trip to the sports bar, every pack of smokes or baggie, every vacation or game/concert ticket, all of it, means that the dream of home ownership may not happen. Why? Because they couldn't sacrifice the small things today to get the big thing tomorrow.

I don't need luck, I have Mr. Morningstar.

I don’t know what that is.

You supposedly have good health, but that could change today. My wife did shelter intake for a realtor earlier this week who was in a car accident two years ago. He was in an accident and received a traumatic brain injury. His medical bills piled up and he was unable to handle his business and was unable to keep up with his insurance payments. His wife left him. He’s unable to remember account numbers or appointments, so now he’s on the street.

America! Fuck yeah!

It could happen to anyone, even you, Harpy.

May your luck humble you.

And yet the consumer economy depends on people having disposable income. 🤔

This much is true, but I think a lot of people got broadsided by the loss of currency value under Obama and now Biden, and rising housing costs from property taxes have priced a lot of them out of the life they could have afforded previously.

The solution to homelessness in my view is to abolish all liquor and nicotine taxes, then decriminalize drugs. Let the homeless gather away from everyone else and enjoy whatever it is they have left, poor devils.

Nothing raises property taxes more than the rising costs of housing real estate. A house that has doubled in value has double the tax base.
