Is this for me? I'm not copycarver, but I am the one in school. If it posted, it wouldn't have had an editor. They really don't edit any of the submissions, not enough people or time do that. I'm glad you got one posted, I'll have to check it out, though to be honest, I doubt I will go before Sunday. My last class and final is on Saturday, so I'll be unable to do much before then.

Congratulations on your story! I hope it does well.

She's also an excellent resource. I edit but lack the "technical" skills she has. I keep trying to tell her I'm no good so she'll take my writers but she refuses <lol> Seriously, she's very good when I run into something that I'm not comfortable with. Typos, most things I'm okay with but there are the odd exceptions. Anyway, keep her on speed dial!

Got my first not nice comment. Anon, of course. Can't please everyone, I know....but still sad for a sec when you read the comments that have no real value except to be mean.

If ya don't like the story - that is fine. Can't please everyone. But - tell me what ya don't like so I can at least learn from your preferences....

yea, you can't.....i actually take comments into account when writing to see what works and what doesn't...(kind of a compromise )

well, here, i think you need more friends because the 'anon' out-number the members....


i've never understood people that couldn't find something supportive to say, and in editing especially you have to be careful because the whole point is to HELP those you are working with

I've contacted some people, but in case I missed you, I'm posting here that I am editing again. My wait right now is approximately one week, please do not ask me for rush jobs. Remember I haven't edited for almost a month, so there are many people already in line and it's not fair to them.

The only exceptions I make are for contest submissions due to the time limits on submissions and need to get them in early for extra voting time.
