Ah Brinnie, ya gotta check out some porn, at least to see what is out there and even how could you do better! Certainly gay porn is fine to start with, but don't be afraid of hetero porn. Not sure but you may be right... But we're cheating a bit here... we are downloading a lot and we frequently joke about how it's almost become a sport. We have so much that we will NEVER be able to watch everything .... yet still we are downloading new stuff all the time. There's also things I would never be able to find in the stores anyway like the documentaries/TV series from the US, like Cathouse (funny!), "Family Business" (Seymore Butts) and "Thinking XXX". Every now and then we buy a DVD but not a lot. You must know that downloading is not illegal in the NL; uploading is. Since you are allways uploading at the same time while you're downloading I guess what we are doing is illegal in the end as well, but they (Dutch government) are still trying to figure out how to fill those blanks in the law .

I (we) have a lot of movies (DVD's, and video's from before there were DVD's) and CD's and besides the porn (200 titles at this moment? and still growing... ) I like the rest to be the originals. And yes, I keep everything in an excel sheet (how did you know? )

Wow, what a conundrum with that upload vs download legality thing for you! I'd be too spooked to do anything online!

I know many fans download all their porn. We still have a 56K dial up connection at home so downloading for me would be tedious as hell. And while at work we have a T1 connection, I obviously will not be doing any downloading of porn in that environment. So, I am left to purchase DVDs. I tossed what I owned on VHS, tried to replace those I liked w/ the DVD version if available but for the most part the porn I owned on VHS represented the time when I made dumb, uninformed decisions with my purchases. I have cut down my porn on DVD recently as well, but still keep the majority of it. And I can't quite get with renting porn either. I feel like if I spend money to rent it, then want to own it, I just spent more money than I planned on to get the DVD. I just do a ton of research on the titles that look interesting so that when I actually purchase it, I will be pretty damn sure it's a keeper!

What? Oh my goodness, you are a bad influence! Well, it's an idea. We did recently have to purchase an external CD/DVD burner due to computer problems, so it might be a possibility to check into. But then I also like having the actual DVD, for easy identification since I store my porn DVD's in those flip CD wallets. I actually don't keep the jewel cases or inserts.

I've had some nice reactions from the LIT-ladies thus far and even some men came 'barging in', which was good (and fun). Haven't heard enough from the ladies though, so here's my question again (although slightly altered maybe):

Ladies, do you watch porn (movies) and if so, what kind do you prefer? Do you like the porn that's out there at this moment or would you like to see different. What exactly do you want to see anyway when you watch a porn movie? Do you find that out there and do you know how to pick a good one?

Does your SO watch porn without you sometimes (or all of the time?!) and if so, what do you think about that? WHY do you watch porn; is it just to spice up your already and otherwise 'thrilling' sexlife or to kick-start what is left?
