I just took my avatar down a few hours ago.


It was a pic of me topless but tasteful enough I thought, and didn't show my face.

I had a signature that said "if you are not 100% sure I want your PM don't send it" which did help weed out the weirdos a bit.

This one guy sent me a couple of PMs - one a kind of smart ass sounding response to my sig and the next PM a wink (only). I didn't reply to either.

Then I received this PM from him:

"How's that working out for you . . .
. . . pretending to be a girl? Next time you post I'm going to bust your ass and expose you as a fraud. (try Googling 'your' AV)
Go away. Come back as an honest Litster."

Of course that really upsets me because its my pic, so I think that it must have been stolen off here and put up somewhere - so I send back a wtf message and immediately take down my AV.

Then the moron is really apologetic and bummed that I took down my AV.

What did he think would happen?

More often than not, I found the creepy people to be posters I had hardly or very rarely came across.

I started automatically assuming that low post count etc was just another weirdo, I shouldn't have but couldn't help it.

After four years here, my ignore list is at least as long as my buddy list. A sad commentary on some of the posters here. Most of them seem to hangout on the general boards, trolling political crap. Personally, I have never understood why people come to a sex oriented site to troll their political rants. But that's just my opinion.

I think what he thought would happen was exactly what happened - you getting upset enough to answer him. He manipulated you into answering. Obviously he didnt expect the next thing, you to take down your AV, maybe to send him more pics to prove you are for real? Though that is one of the oldest bullshits I encountered online. I hope you gave him an idea of what you think of him and put him on ignore.
Your AV was tasteful and gorgeous, I am sorry all of us who genuinely admired it lost it because of one jerk.

I answer to everyone, exactly how they deserve it in my opinion. Those who are less than respectful never send a second PM.

Some people have been coming here 10++ years. In that time they made friends, enemies, and probably got used to posting on Lit. Not all of them retained interest in sex as you may think all should. People change.
What I dont understand is people who come on sex board to be judgmental about what other people like. Be it sex, politics or whatever.

If that's the creepiest you've gotten recently, then I'd say you're doing fairly well.

I'm a guy, obviously, but I've been told of some of the doozies that some womenfolk get. It's truly sad.

Because I write stories for Lit and am a frequent poster on my favorite threads, I get quite a few PMs, most are pleasant, polite and normal and some I might even reply to.

There are a few that are "creepy", sexually persumptive, have pictures of their penis attached, or unsolicited descriptions of what they want to do with/to me I take them with a grain of salt and delete them.

Then there are the ones that I get once in a full moon that are down right scary. I sometimes wonder what I said that might have gotten them all fired up . . . and then I put them on my ignore list.

I have actually received a creepy one finally since I've become active here again. A random guy, lurker since he didn't have many posts, sent me his email address and said he could send me pics when I was ready, or something. Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy seeing pics.
