Your Top 5 List is...

Hmm, my top 5 things that cheer me up.
  1. Alone time, by which I mean time by myself in my own head space, not ‘alone time’.
  2. Listening to music or playing it, mood-matched
  3. Escaping into a good book. I prefer reading rather than movies or TV.
  4. Being outdoors in nature
  5. Being creative, whether with words or art or model building (no judgement, K?)

Your Top 5 Things to Cheer You Up
In no particular order
1: my feet in the dirt of my garden on a hot sunny day
2: figuring out how to create something
3: choosing to do whatever the hell I want with no one to tell me otherwise
4: cruising in my car while singing badly to loud music 😁
5: travelling somewhere new

Five things that cheer me up:
- Being immersed in nature, close to animals
- A game of basketball/ volleyball/ etc that’s difficult to keep up with
- Uplifting or hilarious movies
- Stories of courage or achievement
- The smell of freshly ground coffee

Top 5 Things To Cheer Me Up:
1) Flying, especially into an unfamiliar farm strip or other short field. I love not only doing it but also the preparation for it and the sense of anticipation it brings.
2) Time spent with my wife, my sons and their partners, and their adorable Bichon Frise. We are all very different but compliment each other so well.
3) Taking and processing photos.
4) Hill and country walking with a few special friends I made during the Kosovo conflict and have kept in touch with since. They were difficult times that forged some very strong and unique bonds.
5) Channeling my inner 9 year old and building plastic models.

Your Top 5 Go-to Halloween Movies
It doesn't have to be Halloween themed, just the movie you watch around Halloween or gets you in the Halloween spirit.

2. Sleepy Hollow
3.The VVitch
4.Bram Stoker's Dracula

Top 5 Halloweenish movies.

1. Trick R Treat. Understands the feel of Halloween better than almost any movie.

2. Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Delves into the history of Halloween. Nothing to do with Michael Meyers, and creepy as hell.

3. The Changeling Not a Halloween film per se, but a great ghost story.

4. Captain Kronus: Vampire Hunter A unique take on the vampire genre. Swashbuckling vampire hunter. Odd, big fun.

5. Nosferatu Still hold up over a century later.

Top 5 Halloween movies

2. The House on Haunted Hill (with Vincent Price)
3. The Changeling -the red ball. Enough said. -omg yes @UnquietDreams !!

I didn’t know there was such a thing as Halloween movies… I’m guessing just scary movies looking at the past lists?

These are with a disclaimer that I am going from my memory of watching these as a young person and being scared shitless. I hate horror/scary movies now and don’t watch them really.

1. Poltergeist
2. Nightmare on Elm Street
3. IT
4. Blair Witch
5. Mary Poppins. (That shit is so bad is frightening)
