Five songs that make me want to cry

"Tears in Heaven" - Eric Clapton

"She Used to Be Mine" - Sara Bareilles

"Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" - Les Miserables

"Landslide" - Fleetwood Mac

"My Immortal" - Evanescence

Songs that make me want to cry (I just have 3 that come to mind for now)

1. Hurt by Johnny Cash (originally NIN)

“What have I become?
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt”

2. Oh Daddy by Fleetwood Mac

“Why are you right when I’m so wrong?
I’m so weak and you’re so strong.
Everything you do is just alright
and I can’t walk away from you even if I tried.”

3. Songbird by Eva Cassidy

I've seen Hugh Jackman sing "Tenterfield Saddler" live twice. Even he seems to gets choked up a bit singing it.
Same.

It’s such a beautiful song, I think it has a strong pull on a lot of people for very differing reasons.

I could have done a top ten on that list. Easy.
