Mom is beginning to slip a bit. She's lazy. She won't do the most basic research. Sometimes, she wakes up and thinks it's whatever and gets up and does stuff and then realizes that she's 12 hours off on the wrong day. Hell, we're all subject to do that, but some of us check our phones to see what day it is and the correct time. This time of year, 0600 looks like 1800. Then she gets mad at me for pointing this out. The rebelliousness is the hardest part.


She's probably getting me back for my teenage years.

My mom is darling and I love her to pieces, but I seem to be the repository for everyone's bullshit (not just hers) so I have to have boundaries with everyone or I will go crazy.....

Certain time periods and/or locations - "let nothing go to waste" and "make due with what you have at hand".

Old bay Seasoning just came up in conversation w/ someone last week. I mentioned having a "copycat" recipe for a different brand's Seasoned Salt.
