What Are You Nosey About Today?? šŸ¦

Iā€™m nosey about if you think the full moon affects peopleā€™s moods and/or actions?

It puts me in a better mood when Iā€™m looking at it. :D. Otherwise, I have not observed such effects in myself or others, but am open to hearing about othersā€™ experiences . . .

I also like seeing how other natural phenomena affect people's feelings.
Like storms.
Or rain in general.

I tend to think that full moons provide just enough light at night for people to overestimate their abilities. I have no data to back that up. Just a hunch.

I *love* thunderstorms. The bigger the better. Summer rain makes me happy. Snowstorms make me happy (as long as the power stays on).

The only weather that seriously gets me down and miserable are heat waves and freezing rain. Everything else I'm good with. And at least those two things never occur at the same time.

She threatened me via PM.
Her and her BFF wrote vile ā€œDear Litstersā€ about me.
She ā€œwarnedā€ people about me, accused me of being jealous of her and made up lies about me.
Not so nice in my opinion, but we all have our own experiences. šŸ™ƒ

Waterbeds were mentioned on another thread, so now I'm nosey as to if anyone still has one? And how sex on a waterbed would work. I've only slept on one once, but I had trouble getting out of it and that was when I a teenager. I'd probably have to crawl to the side and roll off it onto the floor these days. :D

So... how's sex on a waterbed? Anybody get seasick?

Heheheh, It takes a little time to get used to but, once you do it's great. I have a hard sided waterbed, (had it a very long time) and couldn't do with out it.
Damn I just love it. Warm and comfortable once you get the temperature right and get used to it fantastic. ;)

Yuck. That's why I said outside perspective. You really never know what people are like until you interact with them. If at all.

I'm nosey about how often you change your mind about people. Do you always stick with your gut reaction? What makes you change your mind?

I am open to changing my mind about people. But actions speak. No action...no changing.

Morals are everything.

Iā€™m sorry. I had no idea.

Iā€™m sorry you were treated that way. I had heard about the threatening pms from multiple women, but I didnā€™t know they also were hateful on the boards. ā¤ļø

Iā€™m nosey about the threatening PMs.
Iā€™ve never gotten one from a woman.
What did they say?

Eh, it was a long time ago. It was hard to sit back and watch people who I liked and respected cheer them on in the ā€œDear Litsterā€ thread for being ā€œfeistyā€ and ā€œbraveā€. I was tempted to try to publicly defend myself against the lies they were spewing, but decided against it because I knew it wouldnā€™t matter and I was confident that people who knew the real me knew it wasnā€™t true, so I put them on ignore and my Lit experience has been better since.

Fara, Iā€™ve long since deleted her threatening and hateful PM, so I donā€™t remember exactly. She sent it to me after I made a very general comment on a thread that said something like ā€œwhen you crap all over other people, donā€™t be surprised when it happens to you.ā€ I stand by that comment.

Bambi, she may have threatened others, I have no idea. I only told a couple of people at the time because I was trying to decide if it was worth it to respond.

I warned a woman I didnā€™t know about a man she was openly flirting with because he was my ex for a reason (cheated on me in person with a now good friend). In return, I was told something along the lines that I must have such a loose, old-looking vagina because I wasnā€™t a virgin like she was and she didnā€™t want advice from me. Iā€™ve had her on iggy ever since.

ETA: Itā€™s been several years since. I donā€™t forgive for being that big of a meany.

Yeah but if you ā€œget busyā€ on it, will somebody get flipped out of bed when a wave hits? I feel like that would be a great comedic scene in a movie.

ROFLMAO, Na, mine is pretty wave-less, no, you won't get flipped out, hehehehehe, it's not like surfing at the beach :D:D when a big wave hits and you dumped :D:D.
I mean you do move a bit, one of the tricks, is sync your motions with the waves, then it's fun. ;);)

I will have to trust you on this since if I ever crawl into a waterbed again, I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to get out without calling emergency services. And that would be humiliating to be rolled naked out of a waterbed, so I'll just die there. ;):D

Your cracking me up tonight, With the hard sided beds you get out easily but there so comfy, you don't actually want to get out. :)
Another trick to getting out, is to just sort of roll out, it sounds worse than it is sorry, :D

I'm sure you have to put some momentum into that roll to get up over the hard side. Clear the bed... I have to start from the other side and start going like gator/croc in a death roll! :D

LOL, that made me laugh again, The sides are just a tiny bit lower than the level of the water, so it's not too bad.
But now I'm picturing wrestling a croc in a death roll on my bed.
Damn it, I was almost off to bed that may give me night mares now :D.

I loved my waterbed. It had foam inside the mattress to make it "waveless". I will probably go back to one next time I have to buy a new mattress.

You have plenty of creepy critters you could wrestle on your bed. ;)

Same. I am trying to get the husband to go back to ours also. Same. Waveless. Warm. Squishy. I miss ours.

What did they say?

I've gotten a few in my time here on Lit. They were usually from Women in Litlationships. 2 of them were from AMpics. They did not like me commenting on their mens pics and asked me to stay away. One was pretty damn mean. I was friends with him, and I told him about it.

The second was also about commenting on his pics, she was just very territorial and told me to find my own man

This is why I rarely comment on coupled up men any longer.(unless we are already friends, and I know I'm not going to get a shitty PM)

The third was a Playground Woman. Over a guy again. Just super catty.

All of these were some time ago. Haven't had one in years.

The key is getting the right amount of water in it. I will add/remove water for about 2 weeks until right. It is surprising how a single gallon of water makes a huge huge difference. I can't sleep on my side as comfortably on a normal mattress.

And sex on a good waterbed? The bestest of the best

Same. So much. I'm a side sleeper, and I miss this so much!!
We had zero problems with sex. Like Rusty said. Once you get used to it, it is amazing!
I've even thought about the half regular bed/half waterbed. I forget what they are called. I'm just not sure you'd get to feel the heat as well. I still have to check into that.

Fuck!

I woke up with a raging hard on! It actually hurt!

My wife had to hurry off to work and left me here pointing at the ceiling, the worst thing is that my bladder was full so I couldn't 'do anything' about it. She was laughing at me! We've been together more than twenty years and somehow she forgot the detail that I can't pee when hard!

So I'm nosey:

How many lit girls don't know that it's tough for a guy to pee when he's hard?
And are there any guys who can?

I'd agree with WhiskeyJack here - in my experience (10+ years as a cop) it's definitely observable. Give people a clear moonlit night and they get up to all kinds of shady shit, usually just because they can see and it draws them outside to socialize or prowl their stomping grounds. A good rain storm has the opposite effect - it keeps them inside and from getting too shady. Definitely cycles of the moon, but nothing mystical there. A good heat wave and the bodies start stacking up.

For the last year or so I've been effected (mood wise) by the rain. I never noticed it before, but seasonal depression or weather related depression definitely hits me, enough that I got one of those lights that emulates the sun - it works pretty good.

News to me!!! So you have to make yourself cum? Are you afraid you'll pee when you do?

It's a physical thing. The path from the bladder to the urethra is closed off during an erection so urine doesn't back up into the vas deferens.
