What's the most unusual place you've had sex? (With someone else or yourself?)

Hanging from a tree branch.

We were a couple of college snotnoses still living with our parents. One night while we were at a park, we got to feeling a little frisky. Climbed up a tree. I stretched out on the limb and she got on top.

Things got a little out of hand and we overbalanced. I managed to grab onto the tree branch. She was clutching onto me, still "in the throes."

Naturally, a cop hit the spotlight just then with me hanging like the kitten from the poster and this gal clutching at me and shaking and squealing. And my pants around my ankles.

A recovering sex addict, I've done... ah... some things in some places that most people wouldn't. But, that has got to be far and away the strangest, even for me.

Of course, it didn't stop there.

A few years later, I was working intake at a detention unit. And 'lo and behold who should bring in one but the officer who remembered me.

But, it just got better. Decades after the incident, I was attending a graduation ceremony for the college where I taught. One of my favorite students ran up and hugged me and wanted to introduce "her favorite teacher" to her parents. Mom was the cop. Awkward.

What does it say about me that I was really hoping to see something about you getting freaky in seminary school or in a confessional ? 😂

I am apparently very boring... nothing super unusual for me unless you count an office cubical of an IT company during the graveyard shift, he was the only one working and I gave him a very enthusiastic bj while we was on a call with some high end security company about a server issue

There was one time in a church basement back in high school. But there wasn't any actual sex - just a bj of middling enthusiasm and some fumbling groping. Nothing in any confessional booths or rectories or anywhere exciting.

Does it help any to know I found it overrated in the practical experiences?

I don’t think I have ever had sex in an “unusual” place. I have only ever had 2 lovers. I have had sex on a park bench.

My sex history has to be the most boring here. In the back of my friend’s Chevelle on a farm road in North Carolina. I was 20, she was in her lower 40s. Other than that, the floor

For several years while I was in grad school I worked at a small independent bookstore and have to say...the back rooms (the office, the receiving area, the bathroom) were the scene of constant fuckery. LOL - good memories.

In your opinion, is there a difference between "I love you" and "I'm in love with you." when said to a partner? If so, then what?

No. I'm fine with any expression of love, however a person wants to work it. I think if your partners expressing love (or you're expressing love) and the person is getting hung up on the phraseology, well, you might have some deeper problems.

LOL - I was involved for years with a woman who, as a running joke, when either of us said I love you, the other would respond..."Mmmm, hmmm, that's nice." and offer a cheek to kiss. It confused the hell out of some people in our social circle.

Yes.

"in love with" is a lustful infatuation.

"love you" is more unconditional and not necessarily sexual. Often isn't.

You can have one without the other. And usually do. The magic happens at the intersection of the Venn.

Yes. In love is conditional. A moment in time. I love my ex wife. I am not in love with her

You can love anyone. Showing care and concern is a part of love.

In love is special, specific and catered to that person of interest.

I love you sounds more encompassing to me. Saying that not only means you have the feeling, but are willing to show it.

The second to me sounds like just the feelings, but you haven't reached the point of showing it yet.
