Have you ever changed or amended your looks for a partner? Did they ask or did you do it as fun little gift? Did you get bangs or dye your hair? Wear more or less makeup? Work out for that hard body or relax into a softer one? Dress up more? Did you like adjusting for your partner or not? Have you ever asked s partner to change their style for you?

Alright! Good question.

Have I changed looks for a partner? Yes! But, I have my limits. Certain things will not change, they're hard limits, I won't go there. However, if it's a bit more minor to me, have I done it? Absolutely.
It's a matter of degrees. If they ask for a change or have preferences for a change (eg, "I prefer jeans over joggers on you", to go back to an ex's preferences. OK! I didn't mind either way at the time, easy change, she was happier), does it matter to me? Does it make sense? Am I open to it?

Matters of degrees.
I ain't going clean shaven for anyone. I'd flip the bird to god if he demanded it of me. But, closer-cropped or slightly longer? I'm open to that change.

As someone constantly fidgeting with bangs that I only have bc my partner likes them on me.... yes.

Like Alpne said, I might suggest I like my people in certain clothes and forbid him from shaving but that's about it.

There's a big difference in someone saying "oh that suits you" or "have you ever thought about wearing this style" and "that makes you look ugly" or "you're just after attention showing off like that"

I once got a haircut ahead of a job interview and I sent my then partner a selfie. He told me, while I was on my way, that I looked like Annie Wilkes from Misery and he didn't want to see me until I fixed it. Unbelievably I didn't punch him in the dick...

One summer I tried to become a sandal person because my wife likes sandals. I hated it and will not be trying again.

Otherwise, I mostly I just try to be someone she’s happy to be seen in public with. If we are going out to dinner I try to look sharp not sloppy. Our tastes generally align so it hasn’t been much of a burden.

I don’t have many specific aesthetic preferences for her other than I think she’s beautiful. It’s more important to me that she feels good and comfortable with her look than that she have any particular look. See above re: general taste alignment. She used to worry that I preferred redheads and she didn’t think she looked good with red hair, but I think I’ve managed to convince her that it’s not really that important 😁

There are certain things I would do. I'd wear the type of knickers they like, for instance. I'd consider the type of dresses they'd like to see, but I'm not going to wear trousers or jeans. And I prefer modest dresses, but...I'd try it their way...for them.
I have asked my partner to wear a full beard, and I liked it. I would prefer a full beard over a goatee, for various reasons.

I do amend my look some for my wife. She likes a clean shaven face so I generally keep it looking tidy.
I have made the occasional suggestion to her as well for a few small things that I like seeing her in or ways I like her hair the most. But definitely try to communicate that I'm going to like her no matter how she does it.

The only physical change I have maintained at a partner's request is keeping my hair longer. He didn't request the initial change, but liked it once it did change. Aside from that, I don't think I've ever been asked to change my appearance. Well, I have been asked to put my hair in a ponytail, but no long term sort of changes. I've added items, such as thongs and nipple rings, to my wardrobe based on preferences and suggestions of partners. I love doing that. When I wear something that I know they will like, it feels for me like I'm giving them a little present.

I definitely asked my husband to change his style for me. When I met him 30 years ago, I thought he was about ten years older than he actually was because his style was a bit of an early 80's flashback. I came to find that this was not an intentional fashion choice, but just the result of not really thinking much about clothes or getting haircuts. Over time, the wardrobe and haircut were updated.

No one's ever asked me to change my appearance for them... I think it's because it's fairly obvious that I'm just a walking talking baked potato of a man and there's no changing that.

I have asked my partner to change their style for me, but never in any permanent way. And only in ways I know they're receptive to. And at this point, my wife knows what I like and will sometimes throw me a bone. If she's dying her hair anyway and doesn't have a particular color in mind, she'll go red because she knows I like it. If she wants to dress up sexy, she knows the kinds of outfits I like. There are some limits and I know what not to ask for too. I know she hates wearing makeup so anything involving that is a non-starter. But for the most part we are who we are, we look like what we look like, and we're happy with ourselves as-is.

Welcome to Official Spooky Season!!

I want to know what weird, witchy or fantastical thing do you believe in that maybe others don't. No judgement here. Are you a zodiac expert? Do tarot readings or see specters out the corner of your eye? Have you ever tried your hand at cursing someone? Are you waiting in line to be beamed up and properly probed?
I've always believed I've had a life before this one so reincarnation I'll go yes.

As for aliens and other beings, well who do you think help build the pyramids? Yep and they put them here for a specific reason.

Sorry I'm a few days late. :D

In a discussion with a friend, I remarked on the fact that women’s bodies have way better erotic PR than men’s bodies. (Yes some of this is the total male objectification of women, but let's put that aside for now. As well as the difference in male and male presenting. We can tackle that in the future.) Women have an easier time seeing the beauty and eroticism in other women, regardless of sexual orientation and even though women may find the male body extremely attractive, it definitely isn’t spoken about in the same way. So my question is in two parts -

Men - Do you wish your body was eroticized more by your partner or in porn (pics, vids, lit)? What part of your body do you love getting compliments on? What part do you wish would get more notice?

Women - How often do you compliment or eroticize your male partner’s body in comparison to him complimenting yours? What part of the male body makes your knees weak and your mouth water? Let’s celebrate the men!

This is a great question. I definitely would like to be eroticized more by my partner. I’m actually not that picky, so any touchable physical part of me that she wants to obsess over, I’m good with. Just don’t poke me in the eyes, please. I get a lot of appreciation from my wife about my non-physical attributes, but wouldn’t mind being objectified every once in a while.

I have been working out pretty hard and it’s finally starting to pay off, so I like compliments on my shoulders and arms. Those are the parts I wish would get more notice from others as well.
Edited to add: feel free to walk by and squeeze my bulge now and then as well. 😁

I’ve been saying for years that the problem with objectification isn’t that it exists, but that it is (mostly) one sided.

I find it sexy when I hear women objectifying men and looking at sexy images of dudes. It should happen more often. I can’t imagine a guy anywhere would feel bad being physically lusted after, although you might open Pandora’s box. 🤔

For myself, I’m not big on compliments, but feel free to tell me I have a nice ass, great bulge, hot-whatever, I don’t mind and I kind of like it. 😜

In my current long term relationship, I'm definitely the complimenter. But even in past relationships and on Lit, I do try to give compliments when my imagination is taken hold by a certain body part. To @hotwords229_A 's point, on Lit, you do have to be careful not to open Pandora's Box so that may factor in here.

What do I love? Besides his face and his cock because... obvious. Well it large depends on the guy but I love the way a man's legs look, specifically his thighs. I love expressive hands. I love the patch of flesh between the top of his cock and his belly button. I love a nice ass and there's something about the back of neck after a haircut. Mmm. 🤤

Well, I’m queer with a kink for being objectified and an attraction to those who love attention. Men, women, and anything in between can be sexy to me, particularly if they display a kinky edge.

While my perspective may only be shared by a small minority of the population, I know there are many others out there of any gender who would love to be a play toy for a horny admirer and be the object of their lusty desire.

Not everyone likes licorice, but some who do can’t get enough of it.

So yeah, dress me up, tie me up and fuck me - then let’s switch and I’ll do the same for you. 🥰

Also, I tend to get the most admiring comments and attention from men or women when I’m wearing a kilt.
(I’ve got a fine little ass.) ☺️

1. Something funky. Funk is a fantastic anti-depressant. Put on some Sly Stone and try to stay in a bad mood.

2. Sure can.

Marvin Gaye- What's Going On?
Motorhead- Ace of Spades
Johnny Cash- American Recordings

1. Well Love Shack is lately the feel better song around my house and who can be mad at that.

2. My three albums are ones where every song one each one takes me to a very specific time and place.
▪︎ Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morrisette (painting murals, becoming an adult, finding my fuck you)
▪︎ Cardboard Castles - Watsky (finding out adulting is a scam, being proud of working hard, buying a home)
▪︎ Inside - Bo Burnham (this remains my depression soundtrack bc if you can't laugh while you're crying what's the point?)

I could agonize over this for ages, so I’ll go with the ones that come to mind today.

  2. The National - Boxer
  3. Pulp - Different Class
