OMG, what wonderful news to hear this morning, Sassy, so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!Well after that busy week. I am finally relaxing on the couch.
I went to the GI nurse this week and she did a physical exam and shows me all of my CT scan. She was able to tell me what she thought the problem was. She sent me home with some stuff to try and I am already feeling less pain. I haven't needed any pain meds this weekend. I am feeling so much better.
All these Dr's and she is the one to figure it out when you can see plain as day on the CT scan. So, it was missed by everyone. I sent her a message already and told her I loved her
Next day I went to my Radiologist and got my tattoos. I am all marked up and ready to go.
Had my eye exam on Friday. I'm blind.
This weekend we went to get my husband and son suits for my daughters wedding in a few months. Such handsome men.
I'm just in awe over how much less the pain is. Such a relief.
Keep on keeping on Sassy and it's great to read you're having less pain. I knew you'd lost weight but not that you'd been undergoing health problems. Kick ass and throw away the names.Well after that busy week. I am finally relaxing on the couch.

Well of course I'd love to say all my pain is gone. But it did take it down a few notches and I'm feeling good enough to get outside and play with the animals, or just go pick flowers. Can we get another positive Sassy update??
I want to hear that you are out of pain and doing well all things considered
Hope you have fun Sassy! Be careful princess.Well of course I'd love to say all my pain is gone. But it did take it down a few notches and I'm feeling good enough to get outside and play with the animals, or just go pick flowers.
I'm packing for my weekend away with my brother. We will leave tomorrow afternoon. I'm really looking forward to spending time with him. Usually, his wife is so possessive she never leaves us along. Even when I'd spend the night and him and I get up early so we can go get coffee. She'll call and ask how much longer we will be.
Sassy... Have a lovely time and trip with your brother..Well of course I'd love to say all my pain is gone. But it did take it down a few notches and I'm feeling good enough to get outside and play with the animals, or just go pick flowers.

That sounds awesome, except for the massage. Fingers crossed for you beautiful lady.So. This weekend. We got to our Airbnb around 7. It was a cute condo that truly had everything. I'm not sure I've been to a place so well stocked. We decided to go out to dinner. Found a really nice Italian restaurant. Good food, but it basically a high-end place where the food only has to look pretty. Not taste good. My brothers food wasn't too bad. Mine was just okay. We spend the weekend binge watching movies and eating. Saturday, we went out and drove around Wenatchee and did a little shopping. Then we found a place to go get massages. I Haven't had one in a long time. We called and told them what kind we wanted. We got to the place and even filled out the paperwork on where our aches and pains were and again told them no deep tissue. We wanted light touch. We both added hot stone massage to our package. He chose aromatherapy and I chose to add CBD cream. I do not think these ladies understood a thing we said. We both told them multiple times that it was too much. They'd giggle like they didn't understand and just shook their head yes. It was 100% deep tissue and when we got up. We were both in agony.
We left the massage place. Drove around a little bit to find something for dinner. We ended up back at the condo with pizza and ice cream. More movies, tons of grumbling about our pain. I took a bath, and it didn't even help a little. I think we were both in bed by 9.
Sunday, we went into Leavenworth to get candy and a couple gifts for our kids. Then we left for home.
Best weekend in a very long time, but we will be much more careful about massage places in the future. My brother said for that much pain he should have gotten his damn happy ending lol First time I've gotten a massage where the person literally helped me take my underwear off and actually got a little handsy.
Today was my first radiation, which went smoothly. My future son in law really wanted to take me. He said I shouldn't go alone to my first one.
It went super quick, and I got my schedule. Most of my appointments are at 10:45. I take 2 chemo pills in the morning. 3 at night. If I don't miss any. My last one will be July 18th.
At least I'll have a little time to relax before my daughters wedding.
My bloodwork is looking better too. Which is nice.
I'm just happy to keep moving forward.
Glad your got such a fun weekend. The massage sounds a bit brutal though ouch! So. This weekend. We got to our Airbnb around 7. It was a cute condo that truly had everything. So good to hear Sassy.. I hope your pain is getting better as well???Thank you everyone. So far radiation/ chemo isn't so bad. Radiation is quick and easy. Chemo is 5 pills a day. Tomorrow is Dr day. After radiation, I meet with the Dr to make sure I'm doing okay.
The radiation team is very nice.
