Well. My weekend off. Time for rest. No radiation. No chemo pills.

It's a rainy, yucky day. I'm unable to do the yearly hike for Father's day. So, I will most likely watch my grandson so all the kids can go with dad.

Week 2 done. 4 more to go.
Radiation itself has gone fine. So far, I haven't had a lot of side effects. The Chemo pill is definitely easier than the IV version. I met with the DR. on Thursday. Every Thursday is Dr day. He said typical side effects start around the 2-week mark. So, definitely trying to prepare. The worst one which I hope to avoid is pain and skin peeling on my hands and feet. Obviously pains and such too. But I've been living with pain for a long time now anyway.
Could possibly lose more hair. I've gotten 4 wigs now. I refuse to attend my daughter's wedding bald. I've already lost my boobs and ass. If I'm going to lose the rest of my hair. I'm at least going with a wig.
I was trying on dresses yesterday and my daughter kept laughing. I asked what was so funny. The dress was a corset style in the back, and she was doing a great job of getting me in lol. But she laughed and said, "I can't believe how small your boobs look in that dress". I rolled my eyes and said "no shit. I keep telling you they are gone" She smiled and said "But they are like my size now" Little shit.

But overall. Other than the issues I've been having. This last week was just fine. I'm finding out that I love my nurse. She is so funny.

Thank you. Yes. We go in tomorrow for one of her last dress fittings. Of course I'm struggling with knowing I won't be able to help as much as I wanted on the day of the wedding. But I'm lucky that I'll have 2 litsters here to give me pep talks to remind me that she understands.

I finally picked out my dress. It's going to be hot as hell and it's got the corset ties in the back.
