I keep finding new covers of this, so despite the fact that I’d never tire of the original, I’m always mixing it up in my playlist.

Many songs I have posted over my time here could possibly fall into this prompt, so it makes it a bit harder. And so many connect emotionally to a specific person, or a time, or a place, or even just a emotion. Sometimes I am in no mood to hear a song, even if I love it at all other times. I have been listening to this song since 1988, and it is one song that, no matter what my mood currently is, no matter what is going on in my life, no matter what anything at all, I will neither change the station nor hit "skip," and that is a rare thing. You could almost say it leads me here, despite my destination.

1) I don't give a flying hoo-haa what people think about Virtual XI and X Factor; some of those songs are the best Maiden have ever recorded. The riffs on Lord of the Flies are iconic!
2) I am the worst guitarist in the world. I have no idea what I'm doing. I much prefer air drums...
