I'm slowly and surely coming around to country music. I thought I was allergic to it.. Turns out it's mainly the country Christian shit I don't like.

I found this song on lit, actually. In the "What Are You Listening To?" thread and I've loved it every since.

Plus, who doesn't love a shirtless, overall wearing, long haired country boy with arms that prove he knows how to work on the fiddle?!

I kept scrolling through the tiktoks about this song, 99% are reactions from women. All the women kept saying they didn't care if it was sung by a gay man, they were all about how it was their own theme song. Apparently I'm the odd one out. I'm on my own little journey here but that is a siren song to me, not a reflection. Anyway, it saddens me that so many women usurped the song and ignored the courage that has been slowly building in the cowboy culture. Ride on, cowboy

I just want to add a little something since this could be mistaken for a parody song...dixon dallas is a real country singer and that is legit his music. Ive known about him for a while...a friend of mine likes to get drunk and request his songs at the karoke bar . He had a huge hit last year that was used to make fun of the dallas cowboys. So i know its more than one post in a day, so please dont count it @morelikeasong ...

Country music has made a lot of progress, i hope it doesnt stop anytime soon...and you eagles fans, i see you, stop laughing!
Let me also humorously add that for a legit 6 months my friend didnt realize the song was about two men despite singing at the top of her lungs. She is...well...special
