surely you know of someone who is hurting right now,

or maybe you're the one who's eating too much chocolate (or doing Tequila shots).

what would you like to tell them?

post it here.:rose:

ehm... maybe "stop stuffing yourself with chocolate, it's not gonna make anything better"?

Never give up, it's not worth losing your mind and heart over it.. been through it more times I can count, get up, and get going sometimes its worth just spending time alone...

Say hi to someone who makes you laugh

hi! *waves*

:)

edit: do you remember the first time we met? I don't recall which thread it was, but we ended up frolicking around a may pole, and you were wearing a tunic and playing an instrument of some sort. :D :rose:

Was that a drunk thread?

Skip the chocolate, that is only ok on period days. Go to a bar with your best girl friend and drink WAY too much and dance until 2am.

Cry. Grieve. Let it out and don't bottle it up.

Go numb for a time but don't forget to live. Don't shut your friends and family out. They're the ones who will be your support and help carry your burdens. Accept their offers of company, go out with them even when you would rather not. They understand or maybe they won't, but they'll try to.

One day the sun will seem brighter, the birds will sing again. Time will help your wounded heart. I'm not sure how long it will take but it will heal. Let go of the bitterness and the scars will be light.

You'll see. Be pissed that I would dare tell you what to do. It's okay- I'm not going anywhere.

I let it out through song. Whether I listen or just write a poem. :rose:

watch lots of comedy :)

laugh 'til your sides hurt, 'cause you'll be crying again soon enough.

also remember, with regards to healing, as a sweet friend recently reminded me.....

'it takes as long as it takes.':rose:

Time for a bump! It looks like something is going around and I'm not the only one who's caught it.

This time, I am giving myself permission to miss what he did right, without losing sight of why he wasn't Mr. Right. And spending time with friends who have the some of the qualities that i need, but that he lacked helps keep me focused on the future.

Self-care is a bitch when I'm feeling discarded- who's with me?!
Having accountability helps, whether that means a list of things to accomplish every day/week, or a friend that I check in with regarding specific goals.

This is going to sound odd, but occasionally I check his fb. It's painful, but it's good for me to be reminded that he has clearly MOVED THE FUCK ON. I may not like his timetable, but there is no question about whether he is hoping to be able to mend fences. He's not.

The voids left that can't be filled are the hardest to learn to live with. I am thankful for friends who are patient and gracious with me while I move through the grieving process.
