A Pirates Life for Me. (IC)

Ren and One-eye prowled through the ship, killing occasional kreeyar but meeting very little resistance. "Bloody good fun eh One-eye?" he said to the old warrior. "Battle is glory young one, our offering to the gods and in honour of dead Ogdru." One-eye replied as a pulse blast whizzed by from nowhere. One-eye smiled and with unnatural speed and agility ducked another shot and ran up the corridor dodgin more. He ran up the bulkhead and with a mighty leap brought his taigu down onto the offending kreeyar. "The medic's office is here." he said going in.

The Kreeyar had heard more shots being fired, and being the cowardly shit that he was took her into the room she had hoped to venture to anyway. Of course Ianthe had hoped that itwould be under very different circumstances as it were. Her mouth was covered, this beast seemed to know something she didn't. She tried to get away but this monster was far too strong for her.

The Kylari was surprised to see one of the pirate's just walk into the office like that. She was sure that she looked like a captive and not like someone who would attack.

"Please..." She said softly.

The kreeyar dropped Ianthe and pulled a heavy warblade out before yelling a warcry and charging the one-eyed Jahad. One eye smiled and moved slightly dodging the clumsy blow. He smiled as the Kreeyar turned back around and he ran his taigu through its torso lifting it up and driving the blade through the wall.

Ren was walking over to the door just as a large blade pierced through the bulkhead right in front of his face. "BLOODY HELL!" he said as he swayed backward. He recognized the ornate blade "ONE-EYE!" he yelled annoyed but also amused, as he walked through the door. "Watch where you put that thing man, nearly took my head off." he said to the warrior. He then turned to see the obviously frightened Kylari women. "Hello lass, what brings you to this corner of the 'verse?"

She would never understand warriors... well she could but not like the one that had just ran her captor through. She stayed where she was on the floor and stared at the man for a moment. There was a mixture of fear and admiration and gratitude all rolled into one but then she heard more yelling.

God she was tired of the yelling.

"BLOODY HELL! ONE-EYE! Watch where you put that thing man, nearly took my head off." he said to the warrior. He then turned to see the obviously frightened Kylari women. "Hello lass, what brings you to this corner of the 'verse?"

"That..." She said pointing at the Kreeyar... "They kidnapped me a while back... I've been their medic ever since..." She looked a little frightened at the two strong men. "Um... I need to get away from here..." She said looking around. "If I need to pay you for safe passage... I have some money."

Ren looked at the girl. "Well, i happen to have space on my crew, you have any useful skills?" he asked. One-eye turned around and eyed the kylari. "She has hidden power young one." he said to Ren, folding his arms across his chest. "She hates kreeyar also, they treated her poorly."

"Well, i happen to have space on my crew, you have any useful skills?"

"Um.." Should she tell them? She would have to tell them something to get on that ship. But she didn't want to be a captive again. Oh this was difficult... And suddenly it was decided for her.

"She has hidden power young one. She hates kreeyar also, they treated her poorly."

She looked at the much older man.

"I am a medic... Despite my age I am a damn good one," she said moving to her feet. She wasn't sure she wanted to talk about the power until she felt safe. "You may already have one so if I may... let me help to repay my debt so you can take me off of this ship..."

Ren looked at the mystic warrior, then heard what the Kylari said. "Well it just so happens that our last doctor met his maker at the end of a kreeyar rifle, so welcome aboard. Whats your name?" he said. "Hope you can fight." he said again as he turned around. "To the brig!" he said marching out of the room.

One-eye grunted and removed his taigu from the warrior and the bulkhead, quickly cleaning the blade as the body slid to the deck. "You hide something eagles-kin." he said to Ianthe, "But i sense no ill in you, save a burning hatred for Kreeyar, but we can work with that." he said smiling "I will hold my tounge. Come, we follow the captain to the brig." he said leaning on his taigu, the blade withdrawn.

"Well it just so happens that our last doctor met his maker at the end of a kreeyar rifle, so welcome aboard. Whats your name? Hope you can fight. To the brig!"

"That's inspiring..." She said to herself as she watched what had to be the captain. She looked up at the much older man when he grunted at her. Normally she didn't like getting grunted at but they had rescued her so it would slide for now.

"You hide something eagles-kin. But i sense no ill in you, save a burning hatred for Kreeyar, but we can work with that. I will hold my tounge. Come, we follow the captain to the brig."

She nodded. "Thank you... My name.. is Ianthe..." She said hoping he didn't intend to call her eagles-kin the entire trip. She followed the two men wondering who they were looking for... She had never been told that there was anyone in the brig.

"I'm sorry sir what are you looking for?" She asked.

"No one in particular, just seeing if there are any worthy spacers or extra guns down there. A crew can never have too many guns." Ren said as they neared the brig. "and here we are." He said opening the door and pointing his gun inside. "Hello lads, who here needs a job?"

He didn't know where he was, all he knew was the pain that wracked his body every so often. He knew that it wasn't recent pain and was just a memory but as it flew through him he sat there in the dark and let out a silent scream. He looked around and tried to find his bearings but in the dark cell that he had been thrown into he did not know whether he was up or down. He did not even know how long it had been since he had been thrown in here.

He let out another scream but this one was not of pain, this one was on anger; the anger that he felt towards his captors. He wanted nothing more than to rip the reptiles apart for what they had done to him but he didn't even know where he was anymore. The last thing he knew he had been on another ship being taken to yet another prison and then everything had gone dark.

He slammed his fist into the side of the cell and heard the noise echo all around him. All that he wanted was to get out of here and as soon as he could.

He let out another shout, "Get me out of here and now!"

Max watched as the captain left the bridge, leaving his question unanswered. Apparently, Captain Ren didn't realize that the two Kreeyar that were in Max's hands were indeed dead. If I can't find a spot to keep these two fresh, then the whole damn ship will be smelling of dead Kreeyar, thought Max.

Max gave a sort of mental shrug as he dragged the two corpses, and the Kreeyar captain, still wrapped in his tail, back to where the barge would return. There he waited for the captain to return with anybody he had found in the brig.

The other Kreeyar from the bridge had also been stacked up in the hall, to be loaded onto the barge like cargo.

Ren looked through the brig and saw a Sarconian raging against his cage. "By sakiyan your a fierce one, i like that." he said as he opened his cage. "I am Captain Rengakus Sejisilic Navarone'naya'gall, this here is One-eye and that little minx is Ianthe. We saw this ship and couldnt resist a bit o' honest piratin'." he said holding his hand toward the sarconian. "Whats your name lad?"

Cale looked at the one who had just freed him with a slight smile.

"Thank you for saving me. My name is Caleaisia Taolas at your service," he said before he spotted the Kylari and moved towards her. He took his hands in hers and gave her an even larger smile.

"Thank you for keeping me alive. I know that without you then I would surely be dead so I owe you my life. Hopefully I can save yours one day."

He turned back to the captain, "I was wondering if you need anymore crew. I know that I can help in someway around the ship and would do anything that you ask of me. All that I ask is that you take me with you so that I do not have to stay here with these stinking Kreeyar."

It was then that a dark light flashed in his eyes and he moved away quickly from the captain. There was only one thing that he wanted to do now and that was kill Kreeyar in anyway that he could. He stopped, bowed to the captain and ran out in the hall of the ship, there had to be some left alive. He did not want to be denied that pleasure, not on the day of his freedom.

IC: 'Ma'am?'

"Tell me the captian is on his way back."

'No not yet, it appears Dr. Akins has died.'

Okay maybe today wasn't a good day to celebrate. I stood in somber silience, hopeing the captian would be returning. While it would be nice to suddenly inheiret a ship, I didn't have the funds to pay the crew or repair the vengence.

"Mr. Bo Kur, where is the closest nuetral space we can repair and restaff."

The sarconian bolted, and Ren and one-eye followed him. "Fool, running off alone into a hostile ship." Ren said. "You'd do the same young one." One-eye said right behind him. "But don't tell them that!" Ren said laughing.

------------------
A few kreeyar were still running toward the escape pods, They turned a corner, only to meet with a very angry sarconian running toward them. "KILL HIM!"

"Thank you for saving me. My name is Caleaisia Taolas at your service."

The Kylari was unsure how to deal with this. He had been left to pretty much die in his cell and she had taken great care to get him food and water and even use her healing touch once on him to keep him from death. He was a lot like her. Or at least she thought so.

"Thank you for keeping me alive. I know that without you then I would surely be dead so I owe you my life. Hopefully I can save yours one day."

Ianthe smiled. "You're welcome," she managed as he held her hands like that. She was surprised at how quick he was to seek out revenge like that but could she really blame him? He had been left to die and had she not been there... well he would not be here now.

And then the captain was following... Well.. it left her little option so she too ran after them.

As he ran at them Cale noticed just how unstable this ship was and that they would have to get off it soon. He knew that he did not want to get off it too soon though as that would mean that he would not kill them. He let out a shout as he ran at them, the only thought in his head being how long they had kept him prisoner and of the things they had done to him. He knew that they would not get off this ship alive if he had something to do about it.

"You have kept me in prison for far too long. Why did you do that to me? Why?!"

Before he could stop himself he picked up one of the Kreeyar and threw it through the air, hearing the wet smack as it landed against one of the bulkheads. He looked down as it tried to move away and landed onto it, slamming his fists down onto the lizard's body. As he pummeled the Kreeyar he felt the tears flowing from him and knew that it was for the innocence that he was losing. He then raised his hands in front of him to see the blood that was on them and let out a scream before he turned to the others.

"I will not let you get away with what you did to me!"

Ren and One-eye stopped cold as they watched Cale beat the kreeyar to death with his bare hands. "I like him already." Ren said to One-eye smiling. "Grab those weapons Ianthe." he called back to the medic. He then hailed his bridge. "Number one, we're on our way back, get everything packed up." he said. "This was a pleasent diversion."

IC: We don't have to go very far to pick up suplies and more crew, that is reasureing, especialy with a dead doctor.

'Incoming transmission from the captain, Ms.'

"Lets here it."

'Number one, we're on our way back, get everything packed up. This was a pleasent diversion.'

"Aye captain, what do you want to do about the damage the ship has sustained?"

The boarding barge had returned, and Max had the unconscious Kreeyar bodies loaded onto it. He continued to wait outside the barge for Captain Ren to come, along with anybody he had found during his search of the ship.

Of course, the Kreeyar captain, who was still wrapped in Max's tail, was not in a good mood, but he had given up trying to break free, especially after Max had squeezed so hard that a few ribs broke in the captain. The Kreeyar just continued to glare at Max and anybody else around who wasn't on his crew.

Aye captain, what do you want to do about the damage the ship has sustained?

"Set a course for Wildspace Nine, we have a decent haul of kreeyar weapons that good honest pirates would be happy to get ahold of." He stood next to the barge, and turned to everyone still aboard. "Everyone prepared for departure?"

IC: "Aye Captian."

"Helms men you heard the captian, set cordinates and prepare for luanch as soon as the barge lands." How many weapons could the captain of found?

Max watched as the Kreeyar weapons were loaded on board the barge, and he made sure that the Kreeyar captain watched too.

Then Captain Ren showed up out of thin air and asked if everyone was prepared to leave. Max nodded, but then remembered the Kreeyar captain.

"Oh, Captain Ren, I'm not sure if the good Kreeyar Captain here is quite ready to leave his ship yet. What do you think we should do, Captain?" asked Max, in a bit of a sarcastic tone. He could careless whether the Kreeyar captain was ready or not, he was leaving. But, he might as well ask, for, as Max understood it, it was the polite thing to do.

Ren smiled devilishly at the basilisk. "Ask him real nicely."

"Aye, sir," hissed Max. Turning his head to face the Kreeyar trapped in his coiled tail, his voice full of serptine sarcasm, he said: "Care to take a quick tour of your ship, Captain, before you leave it? Of course you don't. It's not like you have a choice."

Max turned towards the barge and boarded, producing a sissing laughter, as he dragged the two dead Kreeyar and the Captain on board.
