I'm beat, I've burned all the trash and tree limbs, secured all projectiles, and worked my natural ass off-- since Captain Sunshine is working from 4a.m. til midnight every day until the power is fully restored.

Some stupid fartwad wrote "power nazis" his power company's building because they didn't have power yet! Now the electric crews have police escorts! People get truly insane when they don't have power, and I understand, but there are other ways of dealing with these problems. They caught the jerk, thank goodness.

Sorry I've been MIA. Life, along with the storms has been quite hectic. My sisters both were hit by Ivan's wrath in Alabama, and at home, my dad had partial knee replacement surgery, Captain Sunshine has been working nearly nonstop due to the power outages, and the kids have been driving me nucking futs.

I hope everyone is on the mend from the storms of late. Ivan's BS has caused us to have some pretty serious Noreasterly stuff, so that means more flooding, more outages, more winds and rain. I won't complain too much though, it could be so much worse, and I'm gratedul it isn't. Now I'm watching Jeanne, Karl, Lisa, and Matthew in the tropis, just making sure we have no more unwanted guests!
