They didn’t move on, they were never Jews.Or others moved on with their God from their Book.
They didn’t move on, they were never Jews.
Classic “goysplaining”. A gentile tells a Jew what her own beliefs are. Maybe just shut up and listen to Jews when they tell you about their own religion. Here you wander into the kingdom of denial. You may believe that Jews don't do it, yet for some reason there's those links which show they do.
Both can't be right. The question is; do you insert your own beliefs or learn that the world isn't what you want to believe it is?
Christianity and Islam are both fan-fic religions. They wrote new stories extending the Jewish IP, then insisted their Mary Sue additions were canon.Or others moved on with their God from their Book.

This sounds condescending. There is no good reason to believe a non-Jew would be less knowledgeable. Using the word "religion" in this context after declaring you're an atheist is ... odd? You acknowledge the belief of a higher power among Jews yet deny it exists. So, some Jews are wrong in their beliefs, according to you. And it's wrong for a non-Jew to point this out.Classic “goysplaining”. A gentile tells a Jew what her own beliefs are. You need to be noticed. We get that.I'm equally anti religion, in a passive way.
Tell me more about your feelings. You need to be noticed. We get that.
Oh great! Another non-Jew ready to weigh on what Jews believe! Judaism is both a religion and an ethnicity. You can participate fully in Jewish life without believing in God. I know this might seem weird to culturally Christian atheists, but Jews know it’s true. Maybe just shut up and listen to what Jews tell you about being Jewish. This sounds condescending. Cool story, bro. The closest thing I have found to agree with my beliefs is pantheism. Your beliefs actually fall within my beliefs. I really don't give a shit.Oh great! You admit you don’t know anything Judaism but nevertheless have strong opinions about what Jews believe. Oh for the confidence of a straight white man!Cool story, bro. Did I state that? You are entitled to your opinion. Does the confidence of a straight, White man compare with the confidence of a Jewish woman? Does my sexuality matter? You admit you don’t know anything Judaism but nevertheless have strong opinions about what Jews believe. Oh for the confidence of a straight white man!

Straight white men are particularly prone to holding forth on issues they have no first-hand knowledge of.Did I state that? You are entitled to your opinion. Does the confidence of a straight, White man compare with the confidence of a Jewish woman? Does my sexuality matter?
I sense just a tad of prejudice. Some might call that racist. My position is that you think that some Jews are wrong and that "straight white males" can never know as much about Jewish history as Jews do. And you feel the need to bring sexual orientation and race into it as a means to justify your position.Straight white men are particularly prone to holding forth on issues they have no first-hand knowledge of.
Because there isn’t any. Jews remain Jews by birth.Apparently you don't see the condescension here...
All Jews think “some Jews are wrong”. We’re a famously contentious people.I sense just a tad of prejudice. Some might call that racist. The point is: you have neither the scholarly expertise, nor the lived experience to have an informed opinion about Judaism.
If an Orthodox rabbi wants to come to this thread and cite the Talmud, I’ll give him a listen. He might even convince me I’m wrong.
But that would be a debate about Judaism within the Jewish community. The fact that you think than an uninformed outsider like yourself could contribute to such a discussion is the height of arrogance.
You’re the only one talking about superiority. Pretty rich from someone who is trying to tell members of an ancient group, who has had to fight for their survival for thousands of years, how they view other groups. There is.
It happens when you calmly explain your superiority because your Jewish and non Jews don't rate. Because they're not Jews.
What are you talking about?Your dismissal of anyone who isn't Jewish is probably the worst offense of racism and bigotry you've exhibited so far.
NO ONE has to be Jewish to be a religious scholar. All it takes is dedicated study.
Yet here you are ready to dismiss them merely on the basis that they're not Jewish.
Two Jews, three opinions…. Kind of like economists, but many of them are Jews. All Jews think “some Jews are wrong”. We’re a famously contentious people.

Hmmm? Sounds like AntiChristianty to add to Islamophobia.Christianity and Islam are both fan-fic religions. They wrote new stories extending the Jewish IP, then insisted their Mary Sue additions were canon.
woah! They didn’t move on, they were never Jews.
What are you talking about?
To understand Judaism, you need to live it. It is not merely a religion, it is a culture among an international, multi racial group of biologically connected people.
I’ve studied quite a few religions, lived in religious communities, I can know I lot of about the theology of the religion, but I would not presume to tell them how they think about those outside their religious esp if they are directly saying otherwise.
The Torah tells us that every human being is created in the image of God; therefore, racism and discrimination are forbidden. From the perspective of the Torah and Judaism, racism is not only an attack on human beings; it is also an assault on God. Jewish tradition also implores us to “love the stranger,” to pursue justice (tzedek) and to work to improve our communities and the world. We all have a responsibility to ensure that our communities are inclusive and free of racism. Rabbi Ahron Soloveichik wrote, “From the standpoint of the Torah, there can be no distinction between one human being and another on the basis of race or color… This key concept of kavod habriyot, the dignity of all human beings, constitutes the basis of human rights.”
