What? They can hunt and drag females around by the hair and bang on things with sticks, what more could you ask for?! :D

We get to drag women by their hair??!!!

Wooh-hooo! Where do I sign? SHould I do it in blood?? LOL

All kidding aside, crysede, I have this little cave out near the edge of the river, wanna maybe come out that way and help me make some fire??? Just rub this stick with one hand as fast as you possibly can...lol

Anyway, seriously for real...
The idea has a lot of potential, but what would the surroundings be like. What type of creatures are we talking, like Mastadons? Woolly Mammoths? I know some of it, and i have a couple of those Jean Auel (sp?) novels crysede mentioned, but I'm not positive on what to expect there.
Regardless, I'm in...

heh heh heh, hard to sell huh? suuuureeee, alright then. Ugluk or whoever i'll be is in

Okay, it looks like Nebula One is a dead duck in shallow water.
*shurgs* It happens. I still think we can work with this one, but interest has dropped off.
Any other new ideas?
I was thinking that perhaps it's a good time for...say, a Neverending Story thread, something that is pure fantasy, and less war oriented than anything else.
Maybe another Resident Evil or Evil dead thread is in order.
Ideas on these suggestions?

I'd be interested in Resident Evil. QC horror threads are your thing man, so you've got to head that one up!

Speaking of Horror, well sort of ...

Has anyone read the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter seires by Laurell K Hamilton???

Vampires, Weres (wolves, cats, rats, etc), undead, Voodoo Queens, & Hunters)

If someone starts a story like that I am game to try it.

i've played all the res games, but never read this book arc talks of

res evil rocks, i would be in on that.

Anita Blake *shiver*
ugh, my friend was crazy over those, I couldn't stomach it.

the world on blood is a cool book. takes a different angle on vampirism. its a drug to them, they can't kick the habit. lotsa sex in that book too. the ultimate high is baby blood. woohoo!

Okies it must be a gal thing.

I think Jean-Claude is sexy as HELL!!!

He is the Master vampire of the city & one of Anita's BF. The other is Richard the WereWolf leader.

Can ya say HUNKS!!

:p :p :p

heh heh ... there are some of the 2ndary character too that I like ... Jean-Claude's lil pet wolf food is one of them. I think his name is Jason. ;)

Woa! I misses that one some where ... I haven't read the last 2 or 3 books ... so it might be in thoses.

hmm... jean claude van damme? he's pretty cut.

in a book i read called "lord of the dead" it was about the famous poet byron, who became a vampire. according to it, your own family's blood is
A: irresistable, you love your family, so you don't do it, but stick around them long enough and you'll go crazy and have to control, you'll do it.
B: it grants immortal life!
C: you can smell it.... it's weird. but you can scence because you smell the most delitios thing you can imagine. anyway. thats how it goes.

NO not Van Damme. *bops Khadgar*

*rips big piece of chocie off on part of him that has lots of hair causing great pain*

Oops thats another thread is it ...

I don't think they ever mentioned Jean-Claude's last name. But the guy has been a vampire for 500 years. BTW Vampire are Bi-sexual ... well at lease Jean-Claude is. :D

Though, I don't think they actually show or mention him having sex w/ Asher (one of the ex-loves of his live)

Asher is sexy too. Well half sexy. Somebody threw Holy water on him & half ruined. I'll leave it up to yer imagination.

Khadgar come to think of it I think I have that book.

Lord of the Dead by Tom Holland

Just haven't gotten in the mood to read it.

No, that baby blood thing was in a book I read called "The World On Blood".

And yeah, it must be a chick thing, cause my friend who liked Anita Blake happens to be female lol.

*rolling eyes at Jean Claude*

My girl friend that turned me on the Anita Blake has a thing for Richard. So we don't fight over them. :D

I think she is starting to like one of the other Were character that have come into the storyline. But I forget his name.

If you like Fantasy and want to see a cool character named Richard, grab "Wizards First Rule" by Terry Goodkind. It's the first book in the Sword of Truth series, the best books I've ever read.

With one hand? Good grief Quiet, who taught you to light fires?! You've got to rub the stick with both hands, preferably changing the manner and speed with which you rub it frequently to really build up heat fast. Then, and this is the tricky part, when the fire's about to ignite you need to stop and let things cool down a little - if you can do this a couple of times then, when you do finally keep going beyond that point, the flames will erupt with far greater intensity. Now that's how you start a fire with a stick!

Of course, for a really superior blaze you must cultivate the state of stick-consciousness: the ability to be at one with the stick. To do this you must reach for the stick-within, to immerse yourself in feeling the inner stick, to 'become' the stick, able to sense its every need, its deepest desire, almost before it feels them itself. Ommmmmmm
