Arizona! The new thread

I'm not sure that a gratuitous display like that is the best way to meet people to assuage your loneliness.

Actually, it's the dancing bear doing the splits that does it for me!

And anyway, I'm always excited to see you :)

Well, thank you for that. That is quite the talented dancing bear. Perhaps I'm just feeling a little misplaced and out-of-sorts.

Well said, Query. Well said.

Sorry, I already ate. But I'll stop by for a night-cap (to clear the dust from my throat).

Well, you missed out.... It was sensationally good. Lucky for you, there's leftovers, so pick up Miss Bunny.......

Chili sounds good.. I'll take some leftovers for my lunch today, please.

..... and you can both have lunch with me. Then we can laze the afternoon away, have a margarita or two (for the dust in the throat etc), and watch the storm clouds roll in.

Actually, they're already here, it's been grey all morning, and sort of light brown, lots of crud in the air.

Have a good day, all! :)

I'm pretty sure I'm not going all the way to Texas to pick up Ms. Bunny for a bowl of chili. (Sorry Bunny) :(

What a shame. I'm sure lunch with both of you would be very entertaining.

On a side note:
Skunks, hawks, snakes, lizards, javelina, roadrunners and the occasional coyote have all paid a visit to our home in Lonesome Valley this summer. Now, it's been raining for over six hours. The cats are just a little freaked out tonight.

Hey now, I'm thinking lunch with Ms Dee and myself is the stuff dreams are made of!

I know, right?!

Well, maybe you and I should go over to Hum's place tonight and he could cook us up a nice skunk steak or something.

I'm more inclined to think that dinner, cooked by me, followed by some tub time would be the stuff dreams are made of. No wild critter vittles though. It all comes from the store, except what grows in the garden.

Speaking of critters, tonight we had a moderately-sized tarantula climbing the screen door. After the screams died down, I calmly transferred it back to the wild.

True, Hum!

Tarantulas are cool.. I grew up with them all around in So Cal. Miss seeing them.

Here's another little creature that paid us a visit today.

This is just a friendly reminder to all the local Zonies; be sure to not set your clocks back one hour this Sunday. :D
