Well, we had one hell of a storm here monday night.. then nothing but yucky humidity since then.. felt like walking out into hell this afternoon when I left work.. oh well.. must be august cuz the heat is finally getting to me.. :D

Yes, that tropical depression is dropping a boat-load of water on the Zone this week, eh? We're supposedly going to see a return of monsoon moisture over the holiday weekend, too...I'm still saying a soggy 'yippee', though. We do need all the moisture we can get. But some areas...{hey, Sunny ;)}...just like to sit and bake...:D

Hey Kitty.. wanna come up and bake with me??? the rain monday night cooled the temps fast but creeping back up every day since.

Omg...the last time I was in your area in August, I could literally feel the skin on my legs crisping, just getting out of the car! Love to visit, but it'll have to be in the winter...when it's tolerable! :D:kiss::rose:

Thank you for the welcome. Not sure about the lake as the Colorado dumps into many. Yes, the weather has been very humid...but hey it's the monsoon season. Seems the valley is getting all the rain. Ah well.

From Washington State, actually. :) Got a job here, so packed me and the two kitties up and moved down. Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Tonight's lightening storm is very, very beautiful! Anyone else watch it ?

Yes, I have been drinking a lot of water. :)

I'm loving the sun, the monsoons and the storms. Its all so beautiful!

Friends and family up in the wet NW (although it is the warm season there now) were not sure I'd like it here, but I think AZ has a beauty all its own. Yes, pine trees, rain forests and green nature is beautiful. I will miss seeing Mt Rainier turn pink at sunset ... but what I have seen of it so far, you have color, you have an energy and storms that are perfect for standing on the balcony to watch!
 
I love our weather...yes, even when it is 118 degrees. If I've said it once, I have said it a million times: I'd always rather be too hot than too cold.

The storms have been pretty intense at night here. The rain will do us good though. We do live in a desert after all...well some of us do;-)
