Okay, got it. You're a total perv. Is there anything else we should know before you see Doctor Liz?
I did get scheduled for an overnight observation .. ???

Naturally. But only because we prefer first thing in the morning observations because we can learn a lot about both you and your thing by how it wakes up in the morning - for instance, does it wake up before you do? and if so, is it a little hard? extra hard? or oh-my!-wow-amazing-okay-make-me-scream hard? :) )

I look forward then to you and your staff taking good care of my staff ... 😊

We aim to please - but only if you promise you will too!

(there's a plus $500 charge if you aim for our eyes. your backed-up gratitude can really sting!! 😖)

Well it's been awhile since I've had any real targets to aim for ... Thus part of the reason you are getting my issues looked at. But I'm sure my head will be in the right spot for your staff to avoid that issue. Ahh can I make a request that JJ also be present? She seems to be able to control the shot exactly were she needs it ....

She is good at what she does, isn't she?

I'll check her schedule and let you know.

However, it is company policy that when we both examine a patient together that he gets a note from his cardiologist in advance that says he has a better than 50% chance of surviving such a tandem examination. It's just insurance paperwork. But it's really important. You wouldn't believe my premiums!!

Those CYA Policies can get crazy ... Which judging from looking at you Dr. You should never be required to cover yours!! :devilish:

Luckily, I'm pretty good at giving mouth to... um, I mean mouth to mouth. Shouldn't you get some kind of discount on your insurance for that, Liz? :D

That's so funny! That's exactly what my insurance agent says!

So we reached an agreement. She handles all my paperwork and marks all my premiums fully paid in her system and she stops by my office the first Friday of every month to review my policies. I clear my calendar for the afternoon, close and lock my door and UCMA just for her! And just so that I don't feel awkward or anything about it, she does the same for me! We have such a wonderful professional arrangement. I usually feel so relaxed and happy after one of her visits that I close the clinic early and either take my staff out for Happy Hour, or I rush home and jump my husband before the kids get home from soccer practice.

I, umm, actually don't pay for my insurance (see post above)

But I guess that sort of is a discount now that you mention it, isn't it?

So yeah, I guess I do. (because I'm pretty good at giving mouth to ... umm, too :cattail: )

So good working so closely with professionals!!

What I have forward to look at in the morning ??? Can we move my appointment date up???
I'd love to sweetie. Because it looks like maybe your brain isn't quite working right because you're having a little trouble typing. I wish I could help. But, it's actually a fairly common problem with some of my regular customers. So take a deep breath and try to relax.

I'm afraid there's a pretty big time difference and it's going to take me a few days to get back to the office.

I don't usually recommend this to my patients, but maybe you should try "self-medicating" one or two times until I get back. Get a towel and then concentrate on my picture and tell yourself "Doctor Liz knows best. Doctor Liz knows best." over and over again until you feel a little better.

I remember the last time I kept telling myself, "Doctor Liz knows best, Doctor Liz knows best." I ended up getting arrested! o_O

Sounds like a radical new therapy that usually happens South of the Border!!

Yeah, sorry about that, sweetie. I absolutely should have been more clear about having that new patient initiative INSIDE a hotel room, not outside in the middle of that park during a St. Paddy's Day Parade

It sure was great for business though, wasn't it? I can't even remember how many new patients you recruited that day, can you?

Nope. It happens all the time right here in Las Vegas and by appointment in Beverly Hills, Malibu, Aspen, Vail, Manhattan, Miami Beach, lots of places!

You aren't one of those guys who need to see my birth certificate just because I'm part Mexican are you? I promise I'm allowed to work in this country "meeester"!

I think one look at you and your qualifications are standing out in front of you (And behind) that make me more than willing to place myself in your knowledgable and healing hands
