Yes. That was easy. Now for the hard part.

Depends on the demon. Angel, too. Only with Angels, it's about how quickly they will rise to defend you, whereas with the demons, it's about who is goin to be more likely to try to make a deal with you.

Some examples:

Demons of Doubt - Lucifer, Azazel, Me = we look for those with self-esteem issues. This doesn't mean we look for people with low opinions of themselves; just the opposite as a matter of fact. We look for arrogant bastards who like to muse on their immortality or invincibility or omniscience or penis size or vagina tightness or bank account volume, or you get the picture. Someday, I will have Paris Hilton's soul in a glass jar on my shelf. Someday.

Demons of Madness - Dagon, Thephba, Mephistopheles = these guys are wusses. They look for people who already have some edge of mental instability and try to exploit it. Seems like rolling barrels down a hill to me. See, I like to take a perfectly well-rounded individual and twist them, darkening their souls until they have no choice but surrender to madness or...I'm sorry, I got a little carried away. In any case, the one thing I do respect about these guys is that they do have the equipment to manage this task much better than I do (NOBODY makes a doorknob licker like Mephisto), even if they doo need a bit of a headstart.

Demons of Annoyance - Azazel, Blech (no, I'm not kidding), Jimmy Hoffa (stil not kidding; the guy got promoted to full-fledged Demon after making so many FBI agents pull their hair out along the the lawn of that basebal stadium) = the true masters. I love the shit out of these guys. Not only do they go after the supposedly unshakeable and pinnacles of human strength, but they REDUCE THEM TO TEARS. It's never the big things that really effect people. Like Hallmark likes to repeat at high volume until we are all fucking sick, "It's the little things that count."

You see, it's not really the quality of the soul before the deal that counts, and not necessarily the quality after, but it's the work that we put into them that makes them so juicy and tasty.

Of course, nice, raw, unprocessed innocence is always the universal morsel for us. It's always tasty, enjoyable, and enough to start a serious fight over. And that's just for a littel nibble.
