I think people do get being dominated vs. being desired confused.

I'm going to say something horrible, but I think it might partially explain the fucking explosion of interest in DD/lg relationships. Used to be, that was something people didn't really talk about. Now, everybody wants a Daddy. And I think it's at least partly because DD/lg dynamics are perceived as "gentler" than "regular" D/s dynamics.
