Biker's Run..........................

BlitheSpirit , they upgraded the software here on lit and the data base. A lot of us couldn't get onto lit.

Jaded I have to ask.....what is an OTK.......you have thrown something on me, that I guess that I am niave about.................;)

Thank you Blue.....it was a struggle...to say the least

I know that it was Blithe, but I also know that you are like me.....a very determined woman, and will get what it is that you set your sites on if you really want it................<grin>................:rose::kiss:

Good morning, everyone...:)

I am speaking to you from Woodbury, CT. Your New England winter wonder land (baa hum bug)...:D The snow plows are running up and down the road. I gather that the kids are going to have school. No snow day today in Woodbury.

Today is a work day for me. Would much rather be relaxing in a comfy chair with a good book but don't have a choice.

Blueeyes, an OTK spanking is an over the knee spanking. Being a very naughty girl I am sure your familiar with those...

I am not sure if anyone else noticed but are little thread hit the one hundred page mark this week...:D Thank you one and all for keeping are little home going.

Well, I need to get ready for work. Still a little tired from yesterday. But the weekend is just one day away. Want to wish one and all a super great Friday...:)

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright.

Ride'n hard, put away wet...:)

hmmmmm.....an OTK spanking........that sounds rather intresting.........that makes me wonder if I want to be bad............or be really badddd..........have a great day...............

Good morning, everyone...:)

It's the day before another winter storm... Ugh, the joys of winter...:( It seems that we are going to get hit with another snow/sleet/ and freezing rain storm heading are way sometime around 2 AM Sunday.

I am going to run out today to pick up some ice melt. I need to buy black oil sunflower seeds and suet for my bird buddies. I want to get a hair cut today. Do some grocery shopping and pick up wreaths for the windows. I bought a small tree to decorate for this Christmas that I can place higher than my 1 1/2 yo beautiful grand daughter can reach...;) So today is going to be a busy day fore me. That way when the storm is howling tomorrow I can be indoors decorating for Christmas with plenty of good food to eat...:D

I find it interesting this year that there are not any whereas many people decorating for the holidays so far. Who said the economy is in the shitter...

Blueeyes, I want to apologize. I may have confused you a little. In the house of Jaded even good girls deserve a nice over the knee spanking. Here good girls deserve that same exotic pleasure. Not sure if I mention that I have very large strong hands among other things. If you wear under pants you may want to change them about now...:p

OK, time to get my day started. Want to wish everybody a super Saturday.

Stay warm, stay dry (with the exception of Blueeyes again), and stay upright. Ride'n hard and put way wet...:)

well now Jaded......I wonder what all you do with those big strong hands of yours........give me some thing to think about while I am out side today.....I have alot of things to get done in the yard today........

It looks as if some of the bad weather may hit me this evening sometime....so I have some chairs and things to get put away, and do something with this huge pile of leaves that are in the yard now........

Once the bad weather starts, I think that I will have me a fire in the fireplace, and I will set in for the evening and wrap the Christmas presents and be getting ready for my trip.....

I will be going to Georgia next week, so that I can spend the holidays with the kids and grandkids........it will be alot of fun........

I hope that you all stay warm and dry........stay inside as much as possible, I hate that you all are having so much snow already......

Haze, I know that you are more than likely still shoveling......sorry sweetie, but it will all be over in oh what about 5 more months............sorry guys....I could not live in that neck of the woods..............:rose::kiss:

and Jaded, I more than likely will not be dry today.......<evil grin>..........

Greetings from Missouri:

Just got done reading a great article at the SpeedTV website about a 1917, 4 cylinder Henderson, and some of it's history.

If you get the chance check it out.

First snow of the year. Probably what some of you folk would call a 'dusting' from what I've been reading on here. Wet, heavy stuff.....the snowman population has exploded in these parts.

Been trying to figure out when snow stopped being fun.

I think it was when I could finally afford a driveway that wasn't gravel.

One fond memory was sledding on Art Hill; so named because it was in front of the Art Museum in Forest Park. At the bottom of the hill was a lake and they would only allow sledding when the lake was frozen....for obvious reasons. My younger brother had an old beater Plymouth; we'd pile in and head for Art Hill, take the hood off the car and away we'd go. Great Time.

I went to work for the phone company after the service, and I was an Installer/Repairman in the, shall we say, less reputable areas of the city. I'll never forget how quiet it would become when it snowed.

Been sitting around drinkin' a few beers listenin' to some old stuff....early Jethro Tull, the Dead, John Prine, the Who.

Thinkin' about the old days. Hoping that others have as fond of memories of me as I do of them.

Good afternoon, girls and boys...:)

I just got back indoors from shoveling the sleet and frozen snow off the sidewalk and driveway. Much more difficult to get up in comparison to the last storm. But at least I am back down to black top again just in time for the freezing rain that's starting to fall...:( However I am glad its up and the rain is not compounding to make more of a fick'n miss.

Elbiscayne, snow stopped being fun as are hair started to match the snow. Actually I still do enjoy snow. When I am cuddled up with a hot honey in front of a warm fireplace. Then I actually could give a dam less what it's doing outside...;)

Blueeyes, want to wish you a safe trip back down to Georgia. Always nice to spend the holidays with family and friends.

OK, well enough break. I now have to decorate the little 4 foot Christmas tree I bought on Friday. It is an artificial fiber optic tree and fits perfectly on top my entertainment center. This way the grand daughter can't get herself into trouble. I put the wreaths up and the electric candles in the windows yesterday. I got smart about two years ago and put every thing on timers...:D Everything all comes on a 7 PM. No running around plugging and un plugging decorations for me...;)

Wanted to wish one and all a great Sunday.

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright. Ride'n hard, and put away wet...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Every where I go...:)

well the grades are in.........and it was not the grade that I was wanting....so back to A & P 1 next semester............hope all had a great weekend........:rose:

...you do go back...but at an extreme advantage...and in the long run, you will be a superior nurse because of this class....

....only half the class passed....one forth of the class had taken this class before and hadn't passed it the first time....

...on your first attempt at a class all nurses remember as the class that was a bitch, you can within 5 points.....girl.....that awesome....you should be very proud of yourself..............:rose:

Jaded, I am glad that you are getting all of the decorating out of the way....I know that it is alot of fun while you are putting everything up, seeing Christmas actually come together in your home......I used to love decorating, but since I have moved so far from home.....well I do not decorate anymore...I always go South for Christmas, so there is no sense in decorating here.....

I will be leaving on Wed heading to Georgia......I will stop in N. GA and spend the night with one son and his wife, and then go the next morning and spend a few hours with my mom.......when I leave there, I go and pick up my oldest grandson, and he and I will have a nice 4 hour drive to catch up with each other.........I have not seen him since last Christmas, and I do miss him......he is 10 and a very good age to really enjoy..........I will take him to his mom, and get to see her and my grandaughter.........as well as my other son and grandson, that are less than 5 miles from there...............

My sister has Friday night planned as the candy making night......her and I used to bake off and on for a couple of weeks when I lived in S. GA before the holidays, and that is something that I am looking forward too......

SG, thank you so much.......your words do help there are no doubts about it, and what you help me with, I appreciate it more than what you will ever realize..................:rose::kiss:

Sorry to hear the bad news baby girl...:( For now clear your head and enjoy the holidays with your family. You can worry about your A&P 1 class next semester. Time to relax and let your family spoil you a little. You deserve it... You need some down time to avoid burn out. This will give you a fresh start next semester.

My tree is up...:D I still have a few things to get done decorating wise to do. I have a few friends that I mail paper cards to each year. I will travel tomorrow to the post office next town over which is Bethlehem, CT. They have rubber stamps there to stamp the envelope stating " mailed from the little town of Bethlehem ". Adds a bit of a personal touch...:D

Have a great night sweetie...:D

Good morning, everyone...:)

It's a brutally chilly morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT. We are getting gusts of wind that make it feel really cold.

Today, I have Christmas cards to mail and get laundry done for the week. With the decorating done I can now concentrate on my holiday menu. I want to make some ginger bread men and other cookies. Christmas Eve I think a nice steak cooked outdoor on my Webber grille is in order and Christmas Day I think a nice glazed ham for sandwiches is in order. I'll make my famous German potato salad and my California (no mayo) cole slaw. Perhaps I will make a nice fresh strawberry pie also...:D My son will more than likely spend Christmas Day with the in laws. So it will be a quite day for me. I will call my beautiful daughter Christmas morning and wish them a very Merry Christmas...;) I love the holiday season...:D

I would like to extend an invitation to those (including lurkers) that are in the area without plans to drop by. I can offer you a good meal and good conversation on Christmas Day in the true generosity of a true biker. There is always room for brothers and sisters of leather...:) Send me a PM...!

OK, time for me to start my day. Want to wish everyone a super great Monday.

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright. Riden hard and put away wet...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Every where I go... :)

hmmm Jaded, I have to say that your menu sounds very appealing.....If it were not for the fact that I was going south for the holidays, I may would have to consider going north, to taste your culinary abilities......I do hope that you have a great time with the baking......I know that is what I will be doing this Friday, is baking alot of candies and cookies for the holidays......I always have a blast doing that...............

Also Jaded, thank you for the kind words about the grade......I do appreciate it.......it just means back to the books next semester even more so than what I was this past one................so I will appologize to all in advance if I disappear at times...........you will all know, that i am just having to hit the books a little harder for what ever it is that I have coming up............

I hope that you all have a great holiday season.....I have many things that I have to get done in the next two days...........so I guess that I need t get them all started..............:rose:

Blueeyes, your education is the most important thing you can do right now. That's your future. No need to apologize for your absense.

Enjoy your holidays...

well the grades are in.........and it was not the grade that I was wanting....so back to A & P 1 next semester............hope all had a great weekend........:rose:

Do not be discouraged....this may seem like a huge thing now but 10 yrs down the road when you are working as a nurse....know one, including you, will care that you needed to do A&P again. And....besides....when ½ the class fails I would hazard to guess there is a problem in the teaching and not the student.

I must agree with Jaded....dont worry about it and have a wonderful holiday....relax and let the pain go.......:rose::rose:

thank you Bithe.....the kind words are greatly appreciated.....and as for the pain of not passing........well it is just a thing that I have accepted and I will get through it.........I have stronger pains that I have to get through now....and I am a survivor so I will do it...............:rose:

Good morning, girls and boys...:)

It's a chilly morning and today is a work day for me. Can't lounge around this morning with a cup of coffee. Decorating is done. Now I can kick back and cruise through the holidays. Tonight I can sit back and plan what cookies I am going to make the weekend. I kinda guess the kitchen replaces the bike as stress reduction in the winter months... Doesn't mean I don't have to keep an eye on the waist line...:)

Blueeyes tomorrow I know your gonna be busy with your trip so I'll wish you a very Merry Christmas. Forget school and enjoy your family...

OK, it's off to get ready for work. Want to wish everybody a great Tuesday...:D

Stay warm, stay dry, stay upright. Catch ya all later...!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas every where I go...:)

morning everyone.....it is very cold here today also.....as I look out over the creek, I can see ice on it this morning.......we dropped down to 20 last night here..........

Yes Jaded, tomorrow begins my trip of about a week......I will have a great time......I have already forgotten about the school stuff......I just had to be in pity mode for a few hours with that, and it is over now..........I know that I will do better next semester............so it is ok........

I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season, and I will be talking to you off and on I am sure.........I will have my trusty laptop with me......<grin>

Jaded, cook lots of goodies, you never know who may pop up at your front door.........:rose::kiss:

Hi, I am blueeyes sister in S. Ga. I just wanted to take a minute to Thank all of you for showing my favorite sister so much support

good morning all.......today is the day that I will be making the longest part of my trip......it will be a long 12 hours by myself, but that is ok, I will have the music playing, and I will be rolling on down that long highway........

Sister Dear, thank you very much for showing up......you know I love ya.....

Jaded, I hope that all your food, and goodies turn out really great, and that you have lots of good people to share it all with......

I hope that each and every one of you, has a very Merry Christmas, and I will talk to you all later........

All of you up north, please try and stay warm, dry and safe........:rose::kiss:

Good morning, girls and boys...:)

It's a grey overcast morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT. We have a possibility of another passing snow storm tonight...:( Last year we had a total snow accumulation of 24 inches. This year we already have 15 inches and it isn't even officially winter yet...

Let me take a moment to welcome Pamiam to are little thread. Have fun and enjoy your stay with us on Biker's Run. When your here you always among friends...:D Understand you gals are planning to do some baking yourselves this week. I am not a baker but I am in the mood for some yummy Christmas cooks this year myself. I have the place clean and decorated for the holidays. So this weekend I have plans to do some baking myself. Even got my Christmas cookie cutters out....:D

Blueeyes, enjoy your stay with family. It's one of the great things about the getting together during the holidays. If we don't hear from you we realize it's because you laughing and having fun with the ones you love and love you. Have a safe trip sweetie...

Now as far as the holiday menu is concerned I've never turned my back on a friend or even a lost traveler. I remember not to long ago I actually spent part of the holidays working at a soup kitchen at a church in Waterbury. I see the holidays as a time to reach out and show the kindness to others. At my place there is always good food. If you push away from my table hungry it's your fault...;)

OK, gang I do have to go into work this afternoon for a few hours. So I need to get my sweet ass in gear. Wanty to wish everyone a super hump day.

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay upright...:)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas every where I go...:D
