Biker's Run..........................

It was a fairly good day for a ride I imagine...a bit overcast. Saw lots of bikes on the road including what I swear was a 46 Indian...what a sweet ride those are...wish I could afford the newer ones...the cream and cranberry paint is nice

So what am I supposed to do? Walk up to the bar...order a beer (a Blue Moon thank you very much...though one can't beat a cold Bud either)...turn around...look everyone over...and then say...Which one of you is the Doc?

You can't miss me. 6'6" 300 lb. 07 Heritage. In fact my license is 07HRTG.
Pics below. However I am taking it solo right now. No backrest no back seat.

Good evening. everyone... :)

Cyikac sorry to hear you missed out on the cherry red Honda. I'm not sure how well your pink helmet with the lace edging is going to go with coppere and black. You may have to re paint the bike... ;) Oh and us Honda rider know why your buying a Honda... ;)

Want to wish everyone a super evening.

Who said you had to coordinate helmet with bike...will make it easier for cars to see me...seen a lot of incidences where the car made a turn into the path of an oncoming bike with some grave consequences. And copper is my color....as well as my element...

Just back from the Western Slope of Colorado...

and boy am I pissed! Took $10,000 and 2,000 pounds worth of sound equipment and lights over to help out a small bluegrass festival with their open stage, got there and found out the mainstage sound people had the same basic set up we did and were getting paid $8000 and got food vouchers from the promoters. I saw the host once when I arrived, they never came by to check out the program or even say thanks for volunteering. They put us so far away from the camping that the first night we had no one for the open stage at all. The stage was set up in an animal auction arena and the dirt was six inches deep and got in all the equipment. On the second night, we got a good crowd going and a lot of participation, but at two minutes after midnight, two people from the organization showed up and shut us down. $400 in gas money and three good riding days wasted. Ain't made up for it yet, but I washed the bike today and am going to putt my butt as far as I can the rest of the week to get the bad taste of bad folks out of my mouth.

I still got the seat and can have it on in minutes.

No groupies here. I think you can pick me out in an open crowd. Like I said 6'6" tall. I stand out like a sore thumb.

Ok..then what would it take to bribe you into a spin sometime? I bake a mean chocolate chip cookie,haha..

me..I'll be the short (by about a foot on you anyways), middle aged, bookish looking woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, glasses sitting over in the corner drinking a beer and hoping they have some great classic rock on the juke and not just country though I do like Waylonand George (Strait not Jones)

You did these guys a favor and this was how they treated you...that's rough.

I have this analogy for life when it gets like this....
Ever feel like you're staring in a bad prison movie and you keep dropping the soap?

Don;t let it sit and fester too long...and don;t let it stop you from doing another good deed...for every bad expereince there are usually 3 or 4 great ones (ain;t that true about life in general)...show them you are the bigger man...and you'll feel better about yourself in the morning

Cyikac, that's a great philosophy...

But, having been to Vietnam, you only get to screw me once!

Vietnam eh? Lost a few uncles over there...all good men. Those that came back from it have done ok....though I still hang my head in shame when I remember how some were treated when they returned. Of course what's a child of 12 gonna do about badly behaved "adults"....

Nice looking ride Dr! It's just what I have except mine is a 02. Now you should hop on that thing and ride to NY and party down with us next weekend!

Thanks for the invit but next weekend is doubly busy. We have the state HOG rally in Williamsburg and the East Coast Gathering of the (Patriot)Guard in Fredericksburg, MD.

Bribe me? No you don't have to bribe me. Feeling you squeezed up against me is payment enough! :nana:
