Addictive isn't it..... ;) Have a great weekend sweet heart...

Whspr ,
Enjoy your new found freedom machine!
The thirll of the first time... Wow ! ( talking about bikes now.... my first time in other areas was a different story)

While your enjoying the ride you need to take a sobering look at DOC's pics.
Not to scare you but only to remind you what can happen.
Please ride safe and ALWAYS ride as if you do not have the "right of way" ...
I survive because I alway plan that the car will pull out or make the left ect...
Enjoy the thrill , enjoy the ride ! and please ride safe!

Good morning, everyone... :)

Last night the air cooled down enough for a great night sleep. However I hate to say it but we do need some rain. The lawns around here are starting to turn brown. I did cut the lawn yesterday but had it on a higher setting.

As far as defensive driving I will agree with you NYWings. I give the other guy the right of way and wait for him to do the dumbest thing in the world and sure enough he does it... I really don't know were everyone is in such a hurry to get to now days...

Whspr sweet heart it's only a recommendation but before going to a large street bike please take a motorcycle safety class... If you state is like mine you will need to be tested by the DMV for motorcycle certification.

Sirgary it won't be that much longer until are first BBQ... ;)

Leans over and gives Cyikac a playful smack on the ass "morning girl... "

Doc I hope your feeling better. Perhaps you can persuade that sweet little super model your dating to let you rest your head in her lap and she can rub your fevered brow. Face up doc face up...

Well it time to get ready for work. I'll catch up with everyone later... :D

Safety Course

Jaded1 is wise beyond his years...he has very good advice..

...after years of riding and years of not riding, I took the motorcycle safety course. It was recommended by a long time rider who said he learned to correct some bad habits..

I took it for the insurance discount and to bypass the riding portion of the NY DMV motorcycle liciense requirement.

..It is a course that assumes every student has never been on a bike before. They provided 250cc motorcycles and helmits.
The first time out, we moved the bike forward a few feet and then stopped it...very basic...

by the second day, with expert and personalized instruction, everyone was doing figure eights and fast stops.

I had many bad habits that I was able to correct and I learned a lot about being a safer biker.

I recommend it to everyone I know that rides...worth the expense which is returned with lower insurance premiums on bikes and cars.. ;)

Shit I didn't think there was much that is older than me.... I've been accused of being older than dirty... Well thanks for the compliment I thing...

...well, I am not going to say I am old, but I slipped and fell off the rock and all the guys on the Mayflower sure got a belly laugh out of that...

Good morning, everyone... :)

It's a beautiful Sunday morning here in the small town of Woodbury, CT. The skys are a beautiful blue and not a cloud in sight. I have two beautiful hot air ballons drifting by on a gentle air currents outside my window. It is a beautiful chilly morning. Great sleeping weather... :)

I am planning to take the bike out and go for breakfast this morning. Then I am going to come back to the house and detail it. I suspect that Corey's is going to have their bike night on Wednesday night and with everyone have the day off it should be a good one... :D In the summer they can have up to 400 bikes show up on bike night.

Doc I do hope the bumps and bruises are starting to go away. Have you heard anything from the insurance company yet...

Just another reminder about are cook out... ;) This is your opportunity to meet in person some of the people you have been talking with here on are little thread. Share the fun, good food, and laughter. So if you want to cum (oops, sorry about that come... ) or have any questions contact me. I have re posted below about the cook out... ;)

Catcha ya all later..... :D

They are supposed to give me the word on the bike tommorrow. Last word Friday was that the adjuster went to look at it and it had not made it to the facility yet. So someone f'ed up and slowed down the process.

Revision #2 - Just another reminder...........

I am proud to announce (or re announce) the first Biker’s Run get together and BBQ… :D

This will be the first in a series of Biker’s Run BBQ’s. They have always been about promoting friendships.

Although we love seeing your bike it is not necessary for those traveling long distances or those planning to drink a little to attend on a 2 wheeler. There are times when a 4 wheeler is a better choice than reading about you in the newspaper. Those planning to attend please PM me so your name can be added to the list attending.

So who else is planning to attend…

Insurance companys are always in a hurry to get your premuim. But stall when it comes time to pay for repairs... How are you doing my friend?

Good morning everyone! Had a lovely ride yesterday, and met a couple who had just come back from the NY Rendezvous (hope I'm saying that correctly). They had a fun time, and it was nice talking to them.

It's a little cooler here today, but still nice and clear and a good day to tour through the mountains. Going to do that this afternoon, and get away from the crowd at the Nascar race track here!

...better days are coming...

....been pulling stuff from the basement in preparation for a yard sale next weekend...it sure would be easier if the unmistakable sound of distance bikes being put through thier paces would stop distracting me... :(

....it give's me comfort to know someone feels my pain... :)

...we need to correct this situation...I can't think of any pleasure greater than something wild between our legs...<grin>

Good afternoon......... :)

Well going out for breakfast was nice today. I am still getting used to a bike with a full fairing and being blocked from the wind. Forgot to open the vents on the trip there. But remembered for the trip back... :)

I routed a new battery overflow drain tube down the frame so it doesn't overflow onto the chrome. Gave her a really good waxing after sitting over the winter. I like mother's wax it really brings out the shine and gives incredible depth to the paint. Of course it already has approx. 15 coats of wax on it since I bought it last fall... I am still hoping that Corey's does bike night this Wednesday night... :)

Well I'm done with wax on wax off for today. Think I'm going cover her up and leave her here at the house. I'll try to get some saddle time in the evening over the next couple of days... :D

Note to self: Find something interesting and do the wild thing between her legs......

44 days left until the biker's run first Great American Cook Out... :nana: Who else is cum'n... ;)
