Well the heat and humidity level has successful reached the oppressive level... I am now indoors in the A/C... The weather guess'r are still saying violent T-storms. But I don't have much faith in them.

Shit I just realized today is hump day and I didn't get no hump'n... Want to wish every body a super great day if I don't come back on. May do some reading tonight...

...Had some rain thru here today, not much, but as dry as we've had it, every lil' bit helps. Been busy hookin' up some irrigation lines, gonna try to water some pasture/hayground from the river
...I feel for ya and that sweltring heat jade, we've been havin' that for 3 months now. I haven't mowed in o'er 8 weeks, and its not because I'm lazy.. , just don't need it, that kinda gives ya an idea of what my fall hay is lookin' like, not good either...
...Got one more day this week, and lookin' like I'm gonna be layed up for a few days o'er the weekend. May even find time to catch up on all I been missin' on here lately.

Good morning, everyone...

Last night was just plain nasty outside. I tryed turning the A/C off a couple of times (think green) and the humidity was just to bad... However this morning isn't to bad and the air is supposed to get dryer by tomorrow.

Good to see you again Snake. I am gathering that everything is moved to the new place by now. Buddy I can't even imagine being in that heat/humidity for three months. I am still cutting my lawn once a week. The only thing that is growing like hell is the crab grass and weeds... It really seems to like this heat. I have a few brown spots but they are starting to turn green again with some of the T-storms around.

Now Secret why is there so much humping if Snake's full body hugs are supposed to be just hugs.... Oh I see there is internal squeezing involved also...

OK I have to start to get ready for work. Want to wish everyone a super great day...

Biker's Run 1st Great American Cook Out reminder....

I am proud to announce (or re announce) the first Biker’s Run get together and BBQ…

The rescheduled date will be; August 18th, 2007.

The location will be; my place in the sleep town of Woodbury, Connecticut nestled in the beautiful hills of Litchfield county...

Who is invited; the good members of Biker’s Run (and very naughty biker chic’s… )

Rule of attending; damned if I know…! We never had rules before…! This is like Vegas, what happens here stays here!

All joking aside this is your opportunity to meet some of the great people on this thread face to face. It will be a day good food, good friends, and good times. Just a day for you to relax in the warm sun with your extended family. No pressure and no egos! Just laughter and lots of fun.

. Condiments (not condoms! Supply your own… You know you’ll fall right out
of the Magnums that I us…!) such as; Ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, etc.
. Paper plates, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, and paper napkins.
. Ice.

Jaded has a supply of Mardi Gras beads for those naughty biker chic’s wanting to show or rub their tits against ol’e Jaded…

This will be the first in a series of Biker’s Run BBQ’s. They have always been about promoting friendships.

Although we love seeing your bike it is not necessary for those traveling long distances or those planning to drink a little to attend on a 2 wheeler. There are times when a 4 wheeler is a better choice than reading about you in the newspaper. Those planning to attend please PM me so your name can be added to the list attending.

So who else is planning to attend…

Be a part of this historic moment. A part of the legend of Biker's Run. Can you hang there with the best...? It will be something that your grand children will tell the story. I need to know before August 11th if your comings..........

Looks like another hot and humid one here as well. Snake, I feel for you. I see the farms in Fauquier and Loudon are gonna have to bring in hay for the herds this winter if we don't get more rain soon.

And Jaded is not kidding about how humid New England can get. People think that just because you are north it should be cooler. I can remember temps in the 100's growing up in central Conn.


Wishing everyone a great day...and a safe day as well. With the heat means AC on in cars which means windows up which means they can't hear you as well when you are out on the bikes. Stay vigilant....

Today it got hot but the humidity was down. I can do heat but not humidity...

Cyikac I really did enjoy your theory on A/C and the auto. However I still haven't gotten around to resealing the A/C unti in the van and recharging it... So currently I'll have to stick with my 2 x 55 A/C. Two windows down and driving 55 m.p.h....

TGIF... All we have to do is get through today (with the exception of Cyikac who is already on her 4 day weekend) and it's the weekend...

It's a start of a beautiful morning. I need to find some time to get some fish'n in soon. Time seems to be a problem for everyone now days. I've been invited to a dinner party tomorrow night. I volunteered to bring my Santa Fe salsa dip so I need to get some grocery shopping in tonight.

We I want to wish everyone a super great day... Don't forget about are cook out or you'll be missinhg a great deal of fun with some great people...

Gonna be a lot of 4 wheels on the road this nice weekend so ride safe...

Follow Up -

Wow it has been a hell of a week.

Welllll finally got the bike back local, insurance all settled out, etc. $9000 minus some change was the total. However, get this. The damn insurance company insisted it get towed to salvage. Well there is more damage from the tow than from the original wreck. Can you believe that crap? Some people.....geeeez. Now there is rear and front end damage. Do you think I told the insurance company that? Hellllll no! Got the money and ran. Once the checks all clear and all then I will send the adjustor an email to let him know that the tow truck did more than his insured. After all THEY demanded it be towed! Maybe I will get a bonus out of reporting it.....not. It was right at the total mark though. Had they totaled it I would have reported it immediately because it is actually 2 claims instead of one.

Anyway, the painter is starting. The mechanic is waiting on checks for parts but will order them next week and in about 10 days or so dependent on parts coming in I will be back up!

Doc that is good news that the have your horse and are able to at least get started...

I worked for a International truck dealership. We had a towing service on site. The only way I would ever have a vehicle moved is flat bed it. Even then I would want to do the hook up. Most of these guys could care less what damage they create. It's not there vehicle. I watched as one of the ass clowns my boss hired total a car that was involved in a minor accident. Hooked it wrong and rolled it onto it's top. The female customer was there when it happened and went completely nuts.

Hello everyone on a fine Friday 13th

Great news about your bike! Now you just need to make it better than she was before! Bad way to do it but great opportunity to now personalize it.

Don't worry about the towing damage because it happened while in the care and custody of the ins. company or their agent acting for them. Yes it happened after the fact but it would be the same claim because of the circumstances. Would not be a bad idea to inform the ins co so they can make the tow company pay them back for the additional damages. The tow co is liable for the damage but get away with murder because nobody reports them. Believe me the ins co will make them pay for the damage they caused. Moving the bike is to keep the salvage safe and secure while controling severity of the loss. That salvage co has a big fat contract with the ins co and makes a lot of money doing the work for them. They need to pay for disrespecting your pride and joy. Wait till the checks clear if you feel more comfortable but make sure you let them know what their tow company did to the bike.

Good morning, everyone....

NYWings you are correct it is a picture perfect morning... With these chilly mornings I have seen a lot of hot air ballonists enjoy the morning. It is great to seem them cruising along through the air. I guess it's their way of getting their face into the wind...

Today is going to be a very busy day for me. Lots of running around. I have a dinner party in Fairfield this evening. I am not planning to stay out late. I want to get home early and get to bed. Want to do a little ride'n tomorrow morning before possible T-storms in the afternoon.

After a great deal of thought I have decided to put the screen house up for the cook out. It will provide greater coverage from the blaze'n sun and reduce the amount of bugs...

Well it's off to get the day started. Cyikac keep that naughty grin going! Want to wish everbody a super great day...
