G-mornin' gang,

...I don't check in near enuff anymore, still busy with all this movin'/remodelin' thing...Good to see the ol' thread is still goin' strong tho...
...The birthday party for your gr-daughter sounds great jade, mines 10 months today, and granny has already been planning her big shin-dig, she ain't walkin' yet, but damned is she ain't tuff to keep up with, crawlin' thru the house...I still look forward to the day she goes out with papa on the bike... :)
...Good to see another Virginian comin' on board, welcome vagentleone...I am thinkin' 'bout a lil' ride to the flea market later. I ride, in hopes of stirrin' up some rain, we are in desperate need...
...Hope everyone has a great Sunday, and gets some saddle time in, went out to eat last nite, and saw a bunch of bikes...course i wasn't one of 'em....

...Take care, and ride safe....

Hey gang - hope everyone is having a good Sunday afternoon. Same old same old here - domestic crap.

Rain clouds form up in the afternoon and then just scoot away. The crops are crying for a little drink. The only good thing is that - since we don't have the $$ to put gas in the mower - at least we don't have to mow. :)

J hon - you gotta stop posting your menu for the party - everytime I read it I get hungry  You get me drooling - you're determined to keep me moist somehow.

Hey Snake - nice to see you sobered up and stopped being so all-fired abusive. Gonna have to make a trip down there and clean out your liquor cabinet. I like talking to you better when you're not fucked up. :p

Anyone heard from KW this summer? He must be on an extended ride or just flat out too busy to visit.

We had a "pack" of harleys go past here last night - rattled the windows and made me want to run out in the road and join them. Must be comin' up time for Sturgis pretty soon.

EAA - Experimental Aircraft Association thing is this week about 2 hours north of here. Been having planes fly over in formations of 3-5 most of the day. I went one year and had a blast but it's too dang pricey to attend every year. Gotta pick my battles these days and a trip to the grocery store or having a little fun??? Grocery store wins every time.

Well - back to domestic delight. Take care all.

Just wanted to check in as well. Been working hard, lots of OT to pay the bike note and to purchase that storage shed.
Thought I was going to have some company this weekend but, alas, was not so.... :( .
Yesterday was a beautiful day to ride but I settled for a nice hike in the battlefield instead...and a little old fashioned skinny dipping in a secluded area along the Bull Run.
Snake...get any rain down your way? We have gotten a bit here up in NOVA but it sinks into the gorund so fast it doesn't do much good. They were talking about how farmer's in MD aren't going to have much of a crop either.
Jaded...do hope a few more RSVP for the picnic. If anyone along the 95 corridor needs a ride up....I'm leaving early Friday to head to Conn. Or maybe we'll just have to invite some of the locals to partake of all this food we are going to have.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend. I still have 1 more day.... :p .

Hey, my friend how ya been. We do miss ya be we understand also... :)

Ya the little ones do grow quick. My son and daughter in law have absolutely no idea what trouble is in store for them once she does learn to walk. Now I can sit back and enjoy the headaches he gave me. But this time from a observer side... :D

We have been getting rain but there cloud busts. It rains like hell for about 15 mins then stops. The rain that does fall simple rolls off the ground and down the catch drains in the road... :( It is helping a little. The grass is starting to show green again. When I cut the lawn I cut it on a higher setting so it doesn't burn... ;)

I hope you see rain soon my friend. Keep ride'n... :D

Cyikac I must say that you are one hard working woman and definitely a go getter. With all those hours you put in you have to be exhausted. Why don't I draw you a nice bubble bath and you crawl into bed with me tonight... ;) ...

Well gang the lawn is done. I also transplant the Cheyenne and Jalapeno pepper plants. The Jalapeno pepper plant has about ten nice peppers and loads of flowers. The Cheyenne pepper plants has three nice peppers and loads of flowers. Boys and girls can we say Jaded's four alarm biker chilli this fall... :nana:

It took two more nice big juicy red beef steak tomatos off my tomato plants today. Bring the count to three so far this season... ;)

And a good morning to you too. Got woken up this am by my neighbors Stratoliner. Wandered over and told him if he's going to be up that early the least he could do is take me for a spin as a peace offering for waking me up. Next thing I know we are sitting at Starbuck drinking coffee, lol.

Hope everyone has decent Momday. I like them cause I don't have to work today. So I just sit in my front stoop, coffee mug in hand, and watch everyone else drive off.

Good evening, everybody... :)

Well it has been a rainy day here all day. We got about a inch of rain so far and it's still raining. Wish I could have shipped some down to you Snake...

Hope everyone else had a good Monday... :)

Ride safe... ;)

Little slow in here the past couple of days and it is not even the weekend. What's up with that.

Well went by the shop and must say it was strange to see my baby all torn down. It was neat though to see it without all the tin and no forks but strange. Outside possibility that she will be done tommorrow but more likely the first/middle of the week.

Good morning all...

Doc... that is great news. So she'll be on the road in time for your August ride..

Jaded....looking forward to the picnic. Oh and I am going to buy that shed I talked about. The closest 24 hour storage place that would allow me to store the bike inside is over 25 miles away...not far but it's all back roads so takes about an hour. Too far and too much wasted time. SO she's coming home and it'sll be me waking the neighbors up in the am for once.

Snake....We got a bit of mositure here in NoVa. Hope some rain fell your way too.

Webbo.....so what is it like to ride "down under". From my sister's stories of the place she siad if you ride out in open country the critters make it hazardous. Not many roos here but we do have the whitetails that like to dash across at inopportune times. And turtles...though darn box turtles make for hazardous speed bumps

Well I hope everyone has a great Thursday...only one more day till the weekend.
I'm hoping to get some roadtime with my baby.

Doc, glad to hear you'll be in the wind soon!!!!

They just finally stoned our road yesterday..UGH!!!

I went out with the bike and you have to go 5-10 MPH on the fresh loose stones and it's like riding on marbles or ice...take your pick! A real hot one today in upstate NY. Everyone have a good one!

G-evenin' gang,

...Good to hear your bike is 'bout ready doc, hope ya got some pics of her, all stripped down, kinda like pics of the before/during/after thing...am sure ya are anxious to have her back on the road, good luck, hope ya do get her for the weekend.
...thanx cyikac and jade, I have indeed had some rain this week, started Monday, and rained off/on thru Wed. afternoon. Had some of the excavation dirt wash down in the driveway, and made a helluva mess, but I would not complain...We been needin' this sooo bad. There may even be a chance for a 2nd cuttin' of some hay now. I would say we have had 4-5 inches, since Monday, and it ain't rained today. but even at that, thats more then we've had since way back in the winter.
...Know what ya mean 'bout the gravel roads hazeny, always tuff, till traffic gets 'em packed back, just gotta go easy, and be extra careful....good luck.
...Good to see ya webb, hope ya are continuing to get some saddle time in, I am, but not near what I use to ride... ;)
...Hope all is still goin' well for the big cookout jade, wish i could make it, but looks like its not gonna happen this year, hell, I'd be happy with just a good weekend trip to anywhere...Got A french door comin' tomorrow, its gonna go in the basement, once i get the wall cut out, and i am sure dreadin' all the mess thats gonna make...
...Hope everyone has a great evenin', and tomorrow, TGIF, is great for everyone..

....Ride safe, but ride....

Hello to Jaded and all the other bikers and biker chicks!

Jaded, it looks as if I am going to be able to make the famous cook-out! My work schedule is perfect this time and it doesn't appear that anything else is going on...so I am going to get to meet some of the famous writers on this thread!!! I am up for a road trip, may have a friend ride with me. Will probably take off the day before and stay somewhere close by, then do the same thing coming home, make a little vacation out of it. PM me with directions, etc. please.

The bike is still running like a wild cat! Feels so good to be able to go out to the garage and fire her up and go for a ride.

Haven't stopped by in forever and I didn't take time to catch up with the thread...so hope everything is going well for everyone. I may try to catch up sometime, but it's the first day I have had off since last Fri, so I have house work to catch up on...working 12 hr days, I don't accomplish much else, besides taking care of the animals and eating and sleeping on my work days.

Wishing a good day to all!!!

Good evening, everyone... :)

Contrary to any rumors the earth didn't open up and swallow me... ;) I had a very nasty computer crash right after performing microsoft updates last Monday. I was able to save some of my personal files but I lost a lots of data. Had to re format the hard drive. Re install windows and office pro. I'll be digging out of this mess for a while.
