Morning All, everyone getting back in the swing of things today I'm sure.

NYwings, I use adobe image ready and it pops up the pic in 4 different options and shows the file size in each with each one smaller then the last. You save the image you want of those 4 as you can see the file size and that's it.

Jaded, I didn't know CT repealed their lid law. I also found it strange that in CT they break up large groups of bikes. What's up with that? I know on our road there are 3 different families that moved up here from CT to farm. Another one came from MA and said it was wayyyyyyyy to restrictive to farm there or to do anything. Anyhow, everyone have a great day!

I was busy today so the day flew by quickly...

Countrygent I would ride to work if it wasn't for the fact I work less than a 1/4 from were I live. I usually just walk to work. Number 2 is the parking lot were I work isn't really safe. People seem to be in a hell of a rush now days and there are a lot of careless accidents. People just not paying attention. I have just to much time into my bike to have one of these idiots to run into it.

Hey, Hazeny. The lid law has been gone for a while. Like I said I still usually wear mine as I can't afford to kill off anymore brain cells... OK it may make me a sissy. But I'm a very smart sissy... The police have been breaking up large groups of biker's on road trips for a while. Believe it or not they originally did this to discourage hard core bike gangs from assembling... Most large groups of biker's today are lawyers, doctors, CEO, etc cruising the roadways. Today it's dam hard to find a true hardcore biker. Most of us have respectiable jobs and familys. In 2006 there was a ride for Freedom to show support for the great men and women in are armed forces. There was probably some 200 bikes. The police even provided a escort of police motorcycle officers. But you would not believe the paperwork that needed to be filed prior to the event. You know stating that we promise not to rape and pillage the country side...

Well gang want to wish every a great evening. Time for me to get out of my work clothes and get a nice shower...

Glad you do wear that helmet....wouldn't want to hear you got hurt cause you weren't. Friends are hard to come by.

Well I was bad girl yesterday and took my bike around the block for a spin just to see if I could. Made it without dropping it....but damn that thing is heavy. Got quite a few smiles form some motorists when they realized...hey that's a girl on that thing, lol. Eat your hearts out boys.

Well need to head onto bed myself...late dinner and movie with my boys tonight.

If I wanted a chopper I would build my own stretch Harley/Chevy V8 powered chopper and juicy it... You really haven't experienced life until you've let it all hang out and run balls to the wall at least once in your life time... There are those of us that live life and other that merely pass through it...

And you are one that certainly lives it. Never a boring moment around you that is for sure. I could see you tooling down 84 or 8 on a stretch...they're made for highway driving and not backroads like the Gold Wing.

I have a concert tonight...ok so it's a pop rock band...Hootie and the Blowfish...but they have a nice sound and it will be a relaxing evening...something I really need.

Sigh....yes sir. Can't help it...it's my nature to be a rebel...or feisty as the cops put it,lol. Mounting my boy...that does have an interesting ring to it... .

Test results will take a few days...though they said if anything really bad was found they would call today. Wll keep all posted. Want to avoid that spanking as I still have the bruises back there from the needles...ouch.

Well better get ready to head to work here in a while. They have been great in understanding my limited physical abilities.

Good afternoon, girls and boys...

Well I spent some of the day trying to get caught up on some reading I need to do!

Last Sunday TigerJen and I did burgers and dogs at my place. I served a coleslaw at the BBQ she really seemed to really enjoy. So I figured I would post it to the thread to share with everyone...

California Coleslaw - Preparation time 25 minutes.

This colorful coleslaw is dressed with a slightly sweet vinaigrette-type dressing. You’ll find it a perfect addition to both hot and winter menus. For a slightly different taste, add a little freshly crushed garlic and fresh basley.

1 small head cabbage, shredded.
1 small sweet onion thinly sliced.
1 green pepper thinly sliced.
1 red pepper thinly sliced.
1 small carrot grated.

Dressing:
1 cup cider vinegar.
6 Tbsp. sugar.
1 tsp. kosher sea salt.
1/2 tsp. white pepper.
1 cup vegetable oil.
6 Tbsp minced parsley.


Preparation:

1. Combined cabbage, onion, green pepper, red pepper, and carrot. Toss to mix.
2. Combined the vinegar, sugar, kosher salt, white pepper, and minced parsley in a bowl and mix completely.
3. Pour mixed dressing over slaw. Toss slaw to coat evenly and chill.
4. Gently toss at serving time.

Tips: This slaw will keep for several days in the refrigerator.

Good served with: This coleslaw goes well with fried chicken, spare-ribs, or any barbecued meat…

It is hazy here this morning. The weather guess'rs are saying rain this evening. I need to make a dump run and get some of the outdoors furniture covered up and/or put away before the rain.

...got 'em...by that I mean the carbs on my Wing are out and ready for the shop...

I haven't had to turn a wrench in awhile and I did have to go online a few times to research what I didn't understand from that crappy mechanic's manuel I have....but they are now ready for rebuilding.

Another cold one and I am going after the engine...time to seal what isn't sealed...but it has to be removed from the frame to accomplish that...I expect it to be a five Bud job...piece of cake...

To my sweetie...had me a 10mm deep....ok?....
