Biker's Run..........................

Good evening, everyone... :)

Well I have sorta been moping around a bit last night and today. I caught a little bit of the sniffle's. I'm not sure if it's allergys or a bit of a head cold. It's supposed to get real chilly here tonight. Possibilities of mid 30's. So to take the chill out of these bones I have a pot of chili cooking down. I made it on the spicy side. I'll clear my sinuses... ;)

I am stilling working on a recipe for the chili cook off in Hartford. Perhaps bring a trophy to the Biker's Run club house. We do have a club house don't we...

Sorry to hear about you being late for class Cyikac. I know that your office manager appreciates your sacrifice, NOT!

GG you have been very interested in Cyikac lately! You gals don't mind if I uncap this bottle of JD and watch the goings on... ;) I will join in if asked...

Now if you girl what to come up and take carry of me. I wouldn't mind your naked bodys pressed up against my naked body...

OK I think that about does it. I am dam sure I got myself in enough trouble with the last statement... ;)

I have a few thing to get done tomorrow morning. Then it will be time to let the Wing fly... :)

Ride hard, ride safe, and ride naked... :D

Which head has the cold? I'll be sure to kiss the other one all better

Thought I was going to get to go to Point Fest today...but Mr. Whitebread is on call this week, so of course every frickin traffic signal in the state had to get hit last night.....as of 6pm, he was crashing, since he'd been at work since 5.30am! Oh well, I grilled me up a steak, opened a bottle of wine, and sat in the hottub after just relaxing....

...Good morning all...and especially to this smiling GG which is a delight to see.. ;)

Blueeyes made it through her first day of her bike safety course riding a Honda Rebel 250.
Her soreness and fatigue did not downplay her excitement about all she went through as she learned the proper techiques for being a good rider..

...she told her sister that even though being a biker bitch (back rest) was ok, it has nothing over being the one gripping the throttle...I suspect she will have her own back rest before too long as she adds up saddle time experiance.

....Virginia will soon add yet another female biker to it's roads... :)

Ride safe...

Jaded....sorry to hear you've been sick. The chili (if it has enough spice) should help you sweat it out. Be sure to dress warmly if you're riding today...it's cold even down here in Va.

AS to GG and I coming up to take care of you....not sure you would survive us.

Haze...thanks for the well wishes...like your new AV by the way. I may try to use a pic of my bike as one...but the leaves have been a favorite for so long and they remind me of being back home in New England.

Well I'm over my mad...went for a drive (4 wheeler kind) out to Middleburg to rub elbws with the milliona and billionaires who live there. Went through thelittle shops and admired quite a few custom bikes that were parked along the rode. Had a few conversations with the owners of those bikes, talking about how they handle and the ride.

Today...not sure what's on my agenda. May go out to the Chesapeake and sit on the shore to think. Got some big decisons coming up and I need to just be by myself for a bit.

Hope everyone has a great day. And as always....Ride safe.

I haven't been to Point Fest in I don;t know how long. Do they still hold it on Arnold and Bay? There would be the three of us...my sister and a high school friend, and me....we would find the cheapest place to stay Friday and Saturday nights, hit the local scene Friday, and then the festival on Saturday. One of these days I will have to get back to Jersey and indulge.

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

Burr it was a chilly morning here in CT this morning! I had 38 degrees on the thermometer. This chilly weather works up an appetite. I was in the mood for some freshly baked corn muffins with lots of cream butter... :)

I still want to strip the bed and do laundry this morning. Then I was toying with the idea of taking the wing out and taking a ride over to visit with my son this afternoon. If thats the way the wind is blowing... I do have my leather jacket and gloves out already. I would like to get home later this afternoon to finish cooking the chili. The kidney beans were not done slow cooking.

Well Cyikac being sandwiched between that delicious bodys of yours and GG would be a incredible treat. If I don't survive, I don't survive. It would be interesting to see how many mortician it would take that big smile off my face... :D

Cyikac when sitting there on the Chesapeake if you feel someone take your hand that will be me. I know all that your going through and the decisions you face. I am always here for you. Just reach out I'll be there...

Well I'm off to get the day started... ;)

SG congradulations on your daughter passing her MC class.

Have a great day everyone... :D

Well back but unfortunately not from the Bay as I had planned. Got roped into lunch at the mother in laws which meant thousands of questions whenever he left the room.

As to surviving...I don;t know...but at least you will be smiling :) .

Hope everyone had a great day...those that managed to put a few miles of ashphalt under...I am truly envious.

Good evening, everyone... :)

It was a brisk day here in Woodbury. Never did get my laundry done... :( But the important thing was to get some saddle time. Went over my sons and watched the packers wipe up the field with my Giants on his big screen TV. Manning has absolutely no leadership skills at all. Christ the team looked beaten the moment they took the field. The ride back was a nice one. It has to be the strangest thing but it seem that every biker I know needs to ride to keep there head on straight. Weird shit... Baby is locked away in my security unit until hopefully Wednesday. So now there is no choice but to do laundry tomorrow...

Well congradulations in person blueeyes. I guess the confussion was on my behalf. Welcome to the world of two wheelers and Biker's Run. Please enjoy your stay and have fun. When on Biker's Run you always have friends... :) This is family.

Cyikac sorry you didn't get some down time. Come north there is always a space right behind me. There is always room for that little hot body next to mine... Now as far as the survive comment! This crusty ol'e bastard just might surprise the hell outta both you gals. There would be only one way to find out. I got the time if you lady's have the guts to find out for sure...

I have also found out about the Connecticut chili cook off. There is actually two of them. I missed one which was this weekend. The next one is in the beginning of March of 2008. It is monitored by the International Chili Society. I was looking at the rules and regulations. The pot of chili has to be actually prepared right there at the contest. You are given three to four hours to complete the cooking. I may try the one in March. We need a trophy for are club house. Speaking of which i need to put the pot of chili I made this weekend into containers and in the refrigerator. Worked wonder on clearing my stuff head. Unfortuanately some got on the kitchen cabinet door and it lifted the finish...:(

OK I'm off. Want to wish everyone a great start to the new work week... :D

Thank you so very much Jaded, and not a problem with the confussion. I thought it was rather cute to be mistaken for SG's daughter....<grin>....Hope you all have a great week....it is back to classes for me yet again tomorrow.

The next cook off is in March? May need to take a ride up and cheer you on. Course you ever want to care package some of that down here I'd be honored to give it a try. Will have a few large frosty beers to chill the fire I am sure will be shooting from my ears.

Well the important thing is that you did pass. As far as the mix up I just figured SG was roleplaying a incest fantasy with some lady... we all know he is a sick puppy... Have a great day at class tomorrow. The hard part is behind you... ;)

Now as a fully fledged biker remember ride hard, ride safe, and ride naked... :D

Well now you already know my answer about the company... ;) So should I register us as a team for Biker's Run? I can send you the link to the International Chili Society. I have no doubt in my mind which team has the trophy in 2008. I'll print Biker's Run clearly so they get it right... :D I was surpised to find out that your limited to making only 2 quarts. I have a basic Texas red chili recipe made with marinated sirloin steak with out beans. That was another thing that surprised me was no beans or pasta allowed... We can put together a killer chili reciept that will blow the judges away... The winning chili we can also be sold at your road house dinner...

OK now on the care package... This stuff is eating through the envelopes... :(

Hi, baby girl...

Evening All, I took about 100 mile ride today into the Adirondacks getting back about 4 this afternoon. All I can say is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it was cold!!!!! It took me a few hours to warm up after I got home. It was a nice ride though.

Blueeyes, Congrats on passing the bike test!

Cyikac, thanks for the compliment on the new AV!

Suppose to be in the low 30s here tonight and where I went in the Mountains today it's suppose to get in the mid to low 20s.

Everyone have a great evening!!!

Now Haze, the next time you need to warm up after a nice long ride, all you have to do is invite one of us nice ladies over, and you'll be plenty warm!

Good morning, everyone... :)

Burrr, another chilly New England morning. However as a New Englander we love these brisks mornings.

GG is good to see you back on the thread playing with us more. Now hey there's a thought... :nana: ..

Well, I here to wish all my friends a great Monday. I have laundry to contend with this morning and a lawn this afternoon.

OK I'm off... :)

I will definitely ride safe. I am very anxious now to get to GA to get my bike that is there waiting for me, but I know that I will be there soon....Once the bike is back in VA, well I will definitely be on the roads every chance that I get. As for SG, yes he is a sick puppy, but I would not have him any other way.....he is a very good and loyal puppy.......<grin>........have a great day

Thank you Hazeny, very much......I was nervous, but got it done.....now if I could only get through my nursing classes as easy.....have a great week everyone.......
