Welcome to Biker's Run Crimsongator. A 1993 GoldWing trike... :) They seem to be a popular bike to build trikes. There is like 4 of them in my section of the booney that I know of. Enjoy your stay here on Biker's Run and have fun. Here your always among friends. We are like a small family... ;) Most of us are disfunctional but still family.

Hey Cyikac... :D Older? When I get the training wheels off my Wing I'll show ya older... ;) How is my best friend doing? Still miffed about you advanced bike course? Come to Daddy he'll make it better... Oh and by the way there is a company that really does make training wheels for motorcycle...

Nah...got over my mad. Just have to realize that no matter what I do when something is beyond my control it just is.

As to the training wheels...I saw a smal Kawasaki being ridden by a man who had to be at least 80 and he had those on there...where do I get a set, lol. Man I thought the GW was big...this 750 may be a bit too big as well. Should got the Spirit or 650. Oh well....I just have to keep practicing.

Hope everyone's day went if not smoothly, at least quickly.

Morning All, what a great stretch of riding weather we're having! Sunny, warm and no rain for the next 7 days or so! Gorgeous weather!

Everyone have a great one!!!

maybe I'll let the gingerbread man convince me to get on the back of his bike....think I'd be better driving though.

Good morning, everyone... :)

Well just finished breakfast and the dishes. It is a beautiful day so placing the things to do list a side and saddling up... :D

Cyikac, hope all is well cutie... ;) I'll give you a shout tonight.

Have a great day... :) I'll be thinking of you with the wind in my face... :D

Hey, I'm back! I missed you guys here a bunch...I know I don't get to post a lot, but I always try and stay caught up!

I just got my computer back yesterday. Got it hooked back up and have been playing here and there all night. I am a nocturnal human...lol. And speaking of nocturnal...damn, that moon was pretty tonight. I do love the peacefulness of a beautiful fall evening....the chill in the air, the brightness of the stars, that shining silver moon....which reminds me of someone's post about fall riding...chaps and leather jacket, gloves and enjoying the day. Crisp nights...when we were younger we might stop in a bar for a quick shot to warm us up for the rest of the ride.

I went back to when I posted last and read thru the thread and got caught up on everyone. There are so many posts that I wanted to respond to, but I would never have gotten thru the thread...I lost my computer Aug 12th....so there was a lot of catching up to do.

I soooo wish I could have made the cookout. Are you really thinking of a fall one?
We were supposed to have a plant shutdown which would blow 2 days of vaca, but they are not having it now, so I have a couple extra vacation days...... ;) And OT is slowing down because vacation season has slowed down. So, there shouldn't be any forces in my near future. That means I might be able to do some leaf changing sight-seeing in a state besides my own. Thinking of just taking a trip into PA on the bike. Putt over and spend a little time, then come back home. A 4 day trip or something. I have been getting some riding time and I think I am ready to venture a 5-6 hr trip. That may not seem like much to you guys, but I spent most of my life as a backrest. I had learned how to ride, but just didn't have to do it. I just want to start out with small trips...then move up...plus I'm only on a little 1200 sportster. Gotta stop for gas every 100 miles...lol. I have a goal to keep this little piglet for a couple more years than upgrade a bit.

Cyikac ~ so sorry to hear you have been ill. That is no fun. I went through a couple months last winter that I didn't get to work due to illness...but all is fine and dandy now... :)

Gosh, I wish I could remember some of the other things I wanted to post to. But this ole biker chick doesn't have a great memory any more. It was just good to catch up and see that ya'll thought about me once in a while. *smiles softly*

I am glad to be back. ;)

Morning All, Nice to see you back on Sassy! It certainly was a nice moon last night here also. We have a lot of nice leaves this way in the Adiriondacks...hint hint... http://iloveny.com/foliage/

Everyone have a great day!!!

Just dropping off some hugs and :kiss:es...Hope you all have been getting to ride some. This is my favorite time of year!!!

There's gorgeous places in PA and NY, but I'm sure Jaded will try and convince you to wander all the way to CT....LOL

I was supposed to go up to Erie at the end of Oct, but that's been cancelled, so now I'm making plans for small trips to see the foliage etc.

Haze you are one lucky guy. That is a beautiful part of the country alright. While this year is out...I sure hope that next year is a possibility (hint hint SG). We can stop in Conn and picked up Jaded and the 3 of us (and anyone else who wants to tag along) can head up your way. Hope your back yard is big enough for a few tents, cause camping this time of year is great fun as well.

You are so right...fall is the best time of year. The crisp taste of the air, the spectaular kaleidescope of colors, the smells of buring leaves....

Wondering what it will look like down here...Va gets some great colors along the skyline and blue ridge....

...well...I did it....I found a mechanic in a little town called Tanpan, NY who knew about old carbs and who validated all my research on old Wing carbs...he has the heart of my bike now....a casing from Georgia will be in my hands within a week and that willl kill a terminal oil leak...so...NYWings....I just might make it...

...just once this year, I want to be like Whspr and find a treasure of nature while enjoying a bit od saddletime...

I am watching the leaves...they turn color and I have to kick it up a notch....they are not turning yet but Wardjen (lives in the Adirondacks) tells me they are changing up there...so....time to get busy...

..welcome back you sweet thing....{{{{{{Sassybrat}}}}}}

Cyikac......what can I say......

.... :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: ....

Good morning, everyone... :)

It seems to be warming up here in Connecticut. This is going to be a semi work around the house weekend for me. I have some things that I need to get accomplished before the cold weather arrives. I want to hold Sunday open for saddle time.

Great to see you back online Sassy. Glad to hear that your getting a bit of a break from work. At least it's a good time for a little R and R.

Good to see you drop by Whspr.

GG, like you both Sassy and Whspr have open invitations to Connecticut. I was a shame all three of you couldn't have made the cook out.

Cyikac, good luck on the standby status for your advanced motorcycle class.

Well I need to get ready for work. Want to wish everybody a great Friday. I hope it flys by into the weekend for everyone... :D

Catcha ya all later... :)

Jaded, considering what a waste of time the Gingerbread man is turning out to be....God, I wish I'd pressed for us to go, I prolly woulda scared him off by now!

Hmmm, will definetly keep that in mind. I had a college friend who lived near the Adirondacks, and always meant to go see her, but never made it and now she has moved. Did get to visit her in New Hampshire and got to do a bit of site seeing north of there and south of there. Will keep it in mind.

And thanks for the welcome back!!

I live near a State Park with a huge lake, drive by it every day and it is one of the most beautiful fall sites...changes every day. But I would like to see something different.

You are right about Jaded, I'm sure he'll mention that.

What a gorgeous day!!! I just got back from a short ride...might go back out for another one later...

Last night we had a coyote at full howl right outside the bedroom window at 2 AM..we could here all the rest of them answering from the back of the field and the ravines in the woods....ahhhh I just love the country!!!!!
