...well...I did it....I found a mechanic in a little town called Tanpan, NY who knew about old carbs and who validated all my research on old Wing carbs...he has the heart of my bike now....a casing from Georgia will be in my hands within a week and that willl kill a terminal oil leak...so...NYWings....I just might make it...

...just once this year, I want to be like Whspr and find a treasure of nature while enjoying a bit od saddletime...

I am watching the leaves...they turn color and I have to kick it up a notch....they are not turning yet but Wardjen (lives in the Adirondacks) tells me they are changing up there...so....time to get busy...

..welcome back you sweet thing....{{{{{{Sassybrat}}}}}}

Cyikac......what can I say......

.... :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: ....

Good luck on the repair work!

And thank you too for the welcome back!!!

I have one tree that is alread pink all over...it is some type of maple and they change early. Plus this ddry weather doesn't help.

What a gorgeous day!!! I just got back from a short ride...might go back out for another one later...

Last night we had a coyote at full howl right outside the bedroom window at 2 AM..we could here all the rest of them answering from the back of the field and the ravines in the woods....ahhhh I just love the country!!!!!

To me there is nothing but living in the country...I think I would shrivel up and die if I had to live in the city...but that is just me. No riding today...maybe tonight...mowing the field again today, almost done...my dad is helping me, we take turns.

I wish I lived more in the country......but alas...I'm forced to live by the ocean...a tough life....but someone has to do it.... :nana:

Well Jaded, didn't get in tonight either and now not sure if I will be able to at all this year...grrrrrr, lol.....Ah, c'est la vie.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday and gets some ride time this weekend.

That would work too...am torn between the mountains and the ocean if I had to move somewhere...as long as it isn't in a city, I think I'd be ok.

Cyikac ~ Sorry to hear you didn't get in your class...another time.

Sassy are you bailing it or just cleaning it up with a brush hog?

The ocean is nice too....in the Winter :)

Good evening, everyone... :)

It is turning out to be a warmer weekend than expected... The humidity is slowly creeping back into the area. Because Sunday id the first day of autumn doesn't necessarily mean its the first day of autumn... I has been a while since we had rain. The weather guess'rs are saying possibly Wednesday of next week.

Cyikac, sorry to hear that you didn't make the second class. I hope you don't loose your money... :( That would really be unfair.

I mentioned to you about the chili cook off. Well I located a nice six foot long folding table. The top is made of a composite plastic and strain resistent. I will still us a cover on it. But is nice and light easy to carry around. Dam I love it when a plan comes together... :D

I do hope that you are feeling a bit better. It will be interesting to see the results after Monday... :D

Have a super weekend yourselve. I'll be thinking of you...

Cleaning up with brush hog...and it only has a 4' cut so it takes time...plus there aren't many flat spots in my pasture...I believe a realator would call it rolling acres. Up hill, down hill and across the creek...lol. It did not get done in the spring as it should have so ya gotta go kinda slow too, looks better that way.

The only time I wouldn't want to be around the ocean is during hurricane season...got stuck down by Cuba on a cruise ship during Hurricane Frances...nope, no more hurricanes for this girl... ;)

See Sassy I have already given you a open invitation to Connecticut.

As a strong minded woman you have every right to refuse the offer of experiencing a Connecticut fall foilage tour. With the windy back country road. Chilly morning and warm afternoons. The beautiful sunsetss behind the foot hills of Litchfield county. The smell of wood burning stove. Big old colonial house and wooden bridges. A cup of mulled apple cider, mulled wine, or hot chocolate to warm you on your journey... ;)

Nope not gonna say squat... :p

Your right I didn't. I also didn't mention snuggling up in front of a fireplace with a guy with 19 inch arms and a 48 inch chest. Feeling warm and safe forever. I know of such a man... ;) Should I turn down the other side of the bed tonight...

Hmmm, let see silver white hair, blue eyes, 6 foot 2 inches tall, and weigh in at 200 lbs. Very capable of miltary bench pressing 230 lbs. All of a sudden I'm hamburger meat...

Why? I always sleep on top of you

Good morning, everyone... :)

It is going to be the start of a beautiful weekend... :) The small town of Woodbury is having a town tag sale today. The neighbor has a lot of things she is selling. I have a few things I want to get rid of also, so todays the day to do it... :D I dam near forgot until I notice her dragging out all this stuff from her basement.

I am trying a different pulled pork recipe today which of course I have enhanced. Like Cyikac I am going to slow bake it in the oven at 200 degrees. But I want to try streaming it in beer. Of course it will be served with my special homemade BBQ sauce on a toasted kaiser roll topped with coleslaw. Can we say BBQ'd pulled pork sandwiches for super tomorrow night after a nice ride... :nana:

Ya, life is sweet when your a hell of a great cook... :D

GG, I don't see how you can honestly say that. I remember falling a sleep on top of you being totally spent and exhausted many times... Perhaps I shouldn't have said that out loud...

Want to wish everybody a super great day... :)
