Morn all....was entirely too exhausted to post yesterday...

Won't be on tonight....friend from HS is home on leave from the sands...so I'm gonna go show him a good time.
...a good time?....I want a good time too...<sniff>...a game of twister sounds like fun... :D

... :rose: ...

Ok, I vote we start a campaign that before you can buy a bike...of any kind...that you pass an IQ test. What I saw last night was very frightening.

A pack of about 8 or 10 young men on crotch rockets speeding up and down the main drag outside my hospital. They would sit 4 or 5 across and race each other up and down this busy street...happened at least 3 times before the police showed up and of course they faded into the night. The scary part is there was normal traffic last night and they didn't care. I'm tempted to say if any of them had gone splat on the road we would not have rushed out to take care of them (we are a veterinary hospital) but I guess we would have anyway.

Now we all know if any of these young men had perished there would have been a big upraise on how dangerous bikes are, there would have been a contingent of candle burning young mourners leavinng their memorials on the spot he died, and he would have been hailed as a fine upstanding young man....never mind all the innocent people that were endangered by the reckless stunts that were pulled last night.

Ok...enough soapboxing for this early in the am.

Have a great day...and please ride safe

Good morning, everyone.... :)

It's a warm/humid morning here in Woodbury. We have a possiblity of rain this evening.

It's gonna be another late evening for me. Wanted to wish everybody a great Thursday. I can't wait for the weekend... ;)

Good morning all!

We have had summer weather here also...it did rain a bit yesterday and through the night and is supposed to rain today.

Remember me saying OT was supposed to be slowing down at work..and I would have more free time? Well, I opened my mouth way to soon...I have another 72 hr week going this week. Maybe next week I will get a break...it also has worked out where I am back up on the force list...didn't think that would happen again till next year. Shows how much I know...

Haven't had any riding time in this week. Was going to ride to work one day, but they were calling for thunderstorms the next morning, didn't happen, but I left the bike sit...then wished I had rode.

GG ~ don't be too hard on your friend...shit, what am I saying...give him a great time.... ;)

Haze ~ Beautiful pics...still haven't plugged my camera in and tried getting the pics on here, but work has interfered in my fun. I actually have tonight off but have to go back in tomorrow night, so maybe I will play with it tonight and see what I can do. My printer comes with a program for photos, editing and such, so I might be able to do it myself. If not, I will probably call on you for help.

Jaded ~ just wondering how our sexy host is, besides working too much? Hope you are enjoying life a little also.

To everyone...hope you have a great day and if you get some riding in...do it safely!!!

Morning all :D

Well it's Friday here and we have a long weekend comming up, sadly this little black duck has to work anyway (bummer)

Wheather is warming up but we are still getting a little bit of rain here and there (not enough to settle the dust tho, looks like another Long, hot and dry summer here in Oz). Still I do get the chance to get out on two wheels for some fun.

Have a great weekend gang and ride safely......too many idiot cage drivers out there now

:nana:   Changed my plans at the last minute, as the guy that's in my sig suddenly was in the area...so spent the night with him...... :nana:  :nana: :p

Told the HS buddy we'd make plans for one day next week.

Cyikac, I think people should have to take an IQ test to procreate...but alas, they don't enforce that either!

...Sassykat.....carry a bar of soap in your pocket and the rain will be like a shower only on a bike...can't get better than that...

GG......he is a lucky guy....hope he is in the area more often for you...

Webbo....hope it warms up for you, if not, we will can the heat here and send it to you....we all complaine about the heat but we all know it will not be long before we will miss it...

Cyikac......if those guys on the rocket bikes don't wreck, I hope they grow up quick....or Jaded will be throwing them out in the road...

...Talked to my mechanic today...the carbs will be ready for me in a week...the oil leak problem will be solved with the help of some friends who are going to pick up a part in Georgia and move it to Virginia where another friend will pick it up and bring it to me...

...nice to have friends....wish a few of them were male sometimes....but female friends have certain attributes...=)

NYWings...I still hope to make it this year...tell your friend I am doing my best...she should do the same...<grin>...

Blueeyes too on the road today for the first time since she took her basic bike couarse...she was on her new/used Honda 250 Rebel....she loved it....expect her post about her first time with cars and squirrels (equally dangerous) soon...

...well...exit, stage right...

...ride safe...

... ...

Glad to find Biker's Run

What could be better than riding here in the N. Georgia mountains?

Good morning, everyone... :)

Well, my work week from hell is finally over. I still have to cover for the driver next Tuesday but the hard part is over. My work week started on Tuesday and I worked 45 hours by 6 pm on Friday... :( We had a guy quit in my department which put us one person down. Then they gave the driver in another department off and I had to cover his delivers, plus cover my work in department and pick up the work additional work created by missing coworker. I wonder if they'll give me three checks next Friday...

The good news is that I am off until Tuesday morning... :D I have to start considering to get my place ready for winter coming up. Summer is over. I am getting into the fall foilage. I have potted mums set outside and a pumpkin set out by my walk way entrance. Cyikac I am going to see if I can get ya some fall foilage pictures to get you home sick again. I believe its next weekend that Bethlehem has it's garlic and fall festival at the fair gounds. I went last year and it was lots of fun... :nana:

Just a heads up I am going to post a announcement on are little thread this weekend... ;)

I hope everybody has the weekend off. I know this body needs some R and R. Any of you delicious ladys wanna spend the weekend with me. This body is pretty sore and I really could use a full body massage complete with happy ending... :D

Ride hard, ride safe, butt ride naked... :D

I want to welcome Gusset_Gourmet to are biker's run thread. While your here enjoy your self and have fun. Here your always among friends. We mirror a large dysfunctional family... :D

The announcement - if anyone's interested...!

Good evening, girls and boys… :)

I hope every ones weekend is going along nicely. This ol’e body is finally beginning to recover from the beating it got at work last week.

I had mentioned that I wanted to do the chili cook off next May. Guess it’s that desire to compete and my love for cooking. Plus there’s always the possibility to meet a hot chic. I haven’t had much luck recently… :( I have been thinking about it a lot and decided that I am going to attempt to register under Biker’s Run. I am not sure how successful I will be. But, I am going to give it a shoot. The money collected from these events goes to a charity. I am hoping to draw attention to all the good that Biker’s do. Possibly get us a little glory. First place winner collects $500.00, second place $250.00, and third place is like $100.00. Should I place any where in first, second, or, third place I am going to give the prize money to charity under Biker’s Run. The event is May 3rd, 2008. It will be the New England Regional Chili Cook off, Pleasant View, Somers, CT.

I’ll be running with the big dogs. Not sure if I’ll kick their ass. But them son’z of ah bitchs are gonna know they have been in one hell of a fight… ;)

Hopefully I will be able to give everyone here a reason to hold there head a little higher and say ya I know that asshole…

Remember, ride’n hard and put away still wet… :nana:

No, that not right! Ride hard, ride safe, butt do ride naked…

Thanks, bro... :) Last year there was over 300 of these charity events in the United States alone. It should be both fun and interesting. Each person(s) entering the challenge is assigned a 10 x 10 section and has to prepare a pot of chili right there. No pre cooking or preparing before hand allowed. You have 3 or 4 hours to do this depending on the judges. May 3rd is a Saturday and it should be a very interesting one... :D

Morning All, a little chilly here this morning but it should be good before we pull out for the ride at 11. I need to get my saddlebags and windshild back on before I head out though as I had them off for a bike bath.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday!!!

Hmmm.....maybe I should come up and enter the challenge as well (though I think just attendung and cheering you on will be fun too). Can you send me the weblink for Hartford?

Looks like it's gonna be a gorgeous day so those of you on the East Coast get out and enjoy

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

It is a beautiful 50 degree morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT... :) The leafs are starting to change. I figure about two to three weeks until it's the height of the fall foilage season here.

I have a little house cleaning to do today and want to get the lawn cut. Trying to clean the way to go ride'n tomorrow... ;)

My Giants take on the Eagles this evening on NBC at 8:15 pm. Manning is gonna have to pull something out of his ass if he wants to bet the Eagles this week.

I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather and the weekend... :D

Catcha ya all later.... :)

Catcha ya all tomorrow... :)

...nice to have friends....wish a few of them were male sometimes....but female friends have certain attributes...=)

Sir G, wishing that some of your friends were males.....hmmmmm.....let me see, it was a female that picked your parts up in GA and transported them to VA, and it is going to be a female that takes the parts from VA to NY to you.......now, what is it that a male could of done better in this situation.... Oh well it is beyond my thinking this morning...........Wanted to let you all know that yes I did get my bike this weekend, and I actually got about 5 hours road time.........it was very nice to be out there riding......the cars as well as the squirrels were not problem as of yet, but man the sand was....I did almost lose it, but I managed to recover.......had a very experienced rider along side of me, and he claims that I did a very nice job recovering, so I am hoping that means that I know a little bit of what I am doing on a bike..... Hope to pass you all on the road one day, now that I have my bike in VA with me..........Everyone, have a great week, and I will talk to you all soon, have to get ready for my test that I am having in a few hours......

On the bloody morning after, one tin soldier walks away....

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

It's a beautiful chilly/sunny morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT. The beauty is compounded by the fact today is my day off... :D I do have to replace the serpentine belt tensioner assemble on my van this morning. The pulley is making noise. The pulley is available separately but with my luck the spring in the tensioner arm would snap and I would end up replacing the assemble anyway. So I bought the whole assemble unit. I hate doing the same job over and over again do to stupidity. Then this after is free to get in some scooter time for me.

There is a county fair type event that is going to take place in this area next weekend. It really has nothin to do with biking but it is a feel good fun time. It is the Bethlehem Garlic and Fall Harvest festival event. I love garlic and I am planning on going next Sunday. They are some neat fall crafts at the fair too. Below you will find a link to the fair web site...

OK, now to address the threesome of Cyikac, GutterGoddess, and myself...! Well, ladies I figure that the world is simply gonna have to make some kinda adjustment...! Why...? Because Jaded said so, that why enough...! But that is not any of are problem..! Ya don't hear me complaining about being crowded into a ten by ten screen house with to beautiful women do ya...? I simply sound like the New England Regional Chili Cook Off is gonna be look'n down the barrels of this deadly trio. Remember lady's it's a competition. We're there to kick and chew bubble gum. An I'm fresh outta bubble gum...

So without any further a due allow me to announce the official Biker's run great New England's Regional Chili Cook Off team of Cyikac, GutterGoddess, and Jaded1 or the incredible force meeting an immovable object. But we have to swear to only use are power for good... :D I will forward all the information I have collected so far to the both of you. That way we are all on the same page. I have officially registered with the International Chili Society (or will be when I get my card in the mail) and according to what I have read there only need to be one person in the team registered. Not saying that you can't become active members if you want too. But we are covered.

Now SG it really sound like one young lady is call'n ya out... Sounds like you need to treats someone real good when she gets to NY...! You know really take care of business...

OK, time to get my cute butt go'in if I am gonna get any ride'n in today. We got any ladies out there that wants to join me in the shower this morning... Rub it good ya hear... :D

Want to wish everyone a great start of the week. I know mine just took a large spike upwards. I love it when a plan comes together!

Catcha ya all later... :)
